What is a Registered Behavior Technician?

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to deliver ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs work directly with children on skill-building, communication, and behavior reduction programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
