What a magical ABA clinic! The early intervention program (ages 3-7) highly prepares learners for elementary school! Thank you to the team for helping the amazing little clients make so much growth! You have to see the clinic and meet the staff to understand.

My adult brother with autism has attended DTA at the Mesa location for a couple months I highly recommend it if your looking for something where your loved one can be engaged with others and also in the community. I know sometimes we can be inconsistent with his days because some days are better than others for my brother since his completely nonverbal, but Lee and the girls are always very understanding. It's hard out there right now, I am happy I was able to find them.

I am writing this review in hopes that parents considering bringing their child to this god awful place are made aware of how it's run. I am truly shocked that this place is still up and running. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST LOOKING ELSEWHERE FOR ABA THERAPY. I am within the field and am VERY educated in regards to unethical behaviors/crossing ethical boundaries. This place showed so many unethical behaviors and crossed so many lines... I could write a book. Here are some of my personal experiences while a child very very close to me attended this "school". I am unaware if the owner knows of these situations but it should be brought to his/her attention. This child doesn’t attend this school anymore so I am comfortable sharing this. I have waited to say something as I did not want the child to be treated poorly by staff/ownership (which is unfortunately a very valid concern as I had lived & observed the mistreatment conducted by therapists and upper management). 1. Former upper management (Kelly) got involved in a CUSTODY BATTLE regarding a child attending this school at the time. The other party lost, regardless, but I cannot believe how poorly the staff treated the child's father per mother's wishes. They excluded him from CRUCIAL meetings regarding the child (though it was against court order to do so), rarely updated father regarding the child's progress (again, against court order). As a therapist myself, I have treated a child going through a custody battle. If I EVER were to take sides or show either parent disrespect OR go against a COURT ORDER- my professional license would be taken away with no questions asked. As it should be. 2. Another former staff member (Hilary) would text mom regularly and gossip. This would then turn into a friendship as mother has admitted, which is a HUGE conflict of interest. 3. The turnover rate at this preschool is absolutely insane. Again, I am within the field and have never witnessed a turnover rate this high... which is extremely alarming. The inconsistency with the therapists affects children in numerous negative ways. *Especially* children with Autism. ******* The only reason this child excelled with his behaviors is 100% because of Zandra. She is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. ******* STAY AWAY if you value privacy, professionalism, and overall proper human decency. This place is none of the above.

I highly recommend A Brighter Ave to everyone who needs ABA therapy in Arizona. They have just moved into an absolutely BEAUTIFUL building. The owner put her heart and soul into to making this new clinic an awesome place for the kids! So much time and hard work was put into this new clinic to make it a perfect place for kids. This is someone who deeply cares for the kids and their families that attend her clinic. This is such a great company with great employees. Everyone should be very PROUD of all the hard work and great things they have accomplished! Thank you A Brighter Avenue for being such an amazing place for individuals with autism and other special needs. You are truly making a difference in so many lives!

Communication is horrible! When my son lost his provider this year, the company did not even let us know that he was leaving. I had to call them and they had not even begun to look for a new provider for my son. I left several messages and emails for the coordinator to try to find out the progress but no one got back to me. Finally after my DDD coordinator reached out they emailed to say they are still working on it. After several months of no communication, I decided to go with a new company. Unfortunately there seems to be a lack of organization within A Brighter Avenue and they do not seem to care about their clients at all. It is very unfortunate because we were with them for over 2 years. The only reason we stayed that long was because my son loved the provider he was working with. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for ABA therapy.
