We personally have two kids under two and every single appointment was an hour to 2 hour long phone call conversation in which we would be cut off or we would speak to somebody and competent that couldn’t answer the question to pass us on to another service advisor. Hours of my life, I will never get back

Absolutely unacceptable phone service! I had to call Alameda Alliance for Health many times before anyone answered. The representative Jasmine was rude, impatient, and completely unprofessional. I fully agree with the other 1-star reviews and they are not lying. Management seriously needs to address staff attitude and training.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I've been home post Pneumonia and Sepsis with Pulmonary Hypertension and I still have not been treated! I've had to change providers 4 times in 2 months due to lack of care, professionalism, efficiency, rudeness, and out right neglect. I now need to change my provider for the 5th time because this provider won't look at my medical records, test results, current condition (I'm wheelchair bound now), or write me a doctors note even though I haven't been treated yet and my symptoms are getting worst!!! I have reached out multiple times to their case manager department and haven't heard from anyone. It's been over a week. I found out that my case manager urgent requests were being sent to a provider I no longer have. I've filed at least 10 grievances since August 2025 and haven't heard anything. I even had to drop a Pulmonologist because she came into my appointment visibly high on something and was nodding in the appointment. There has been NO since of urgency regarding my case and getting me a PCP I can rely on and making sure my referrals are submitted accurately and efficiently (which they haven't). I've gone through pure Hell since July 2025. Accessing my benefits such as a wheelchair and medical transport took nearly 3 weeks of waiting and calling everyday. Every provider (specialists included) I've seen are dismissive, rude, non attentive, do not listen at all, not thorough, non caring, non efficient, unattainable, no compassion, does not follow up on test results. I just had a cardiologist (Jain Ash Fremont, Ca) be so rude to me when going over my test results that I cried and was noticeably upset and he told me "I don't know what to tell you, go ask your Primary" because I was trying to explain to him that my symptoms are worst and debilitating. When I asked him about my enlarged heart that was found in my medical records by a different provider, he dismissed me and said" no you don't, well maybe you do but it's probably because of your weight". Which is proof that this man did not look at my case thoroughly and had just quickly looked over a few test results during the appointment. The current PCP Dr. Garg and her side kick nurse practitioner Tracy Vuong (Pleasanton, Ca) refused to listen to my current medical issues, fully review my medical records, refused to review my blood test results stating that if I want to talk about my medical conditions or test results, I have to make separate appointments for that. Mind you I'm coming to them with multiple hospital stays and issues already charted in my medical records. Still she refuses to write me a doctor's note for a condition that has not been treated since July 2025 with worsen symptoms. She said I had to wait for a specialist to diagnose me first and I told her that I'm on disability now and need her to explain my current conditions to EDD, my work, and school. I'm a mother of 3 and now facing no income while I'm actively seeking a provider that gives a damn! These last few months have been a nightmare.

Today I want to thank Lily, a customer service staff, for not only helping me solve all the problems, but also answering my doubts and very wisely resolving my misunderstandings about other staff members in the past period of time. The most important thing is that she answered my doubts. She said that she carefully read the record of the complaint, and the staff member at that time did note that I had no intention of complaining. I was relieved and resolved my misunderstanding of that staff member after hearing this. Then I asked Lily why the company sent a letter of complaint to my family doctor. Lily's explanation was perfect. She said that the purpose of all staff and the company is to satisfy customers, so I think there is no complaint, but the company still has to do things to the best of its ability so that the customer service can be 100% satisfied with the family doctor. Wow! My God, it's so touching! Not only all the misunderstandings were eliminated, all the problems were solved, but it also made me realize that it was my own inappropriate speech that caused the trouble. I summarized the reasons, which are mainly caused by the cultural differences between China and the United States. Chinese people pay more attention to the inconsistency between inside and outside when speaking. They agree in their hearts, but they are not so rigorous when speaking. American culture is to take what you say literally. All words are sometimes subject to legal liability. I am really sorry that I have not fully mastered American culture and have caused trouble to the staff, me and my family doctor! But Lily can solve all the troubles caused by cultural differences! Her ability is really unique. Lily is also very caring. I can feel her personality charm across the phone line. I think such an excellent talent should be known and understood by the senior management of Alliance, so as a customer, I solemnly express my feelings about her ability here! Finally, I would like to thank all the staff of Alliance. Thank you for your love and warm service. Every time I deal with you, it is a pleasure! With such an excellent team of employees, I believe there must be a special elite management team. Salute to you! Sincerely, Your customers

I called to cancel my Medical insurance. A case # was created for my cancellation request by the representative I spoke with and she said she is submitting it to Medical on my behalf. It was never done 3 weeks later. My son needed a hospital visit and now to discover my new coverage that was supposed to start on 10/1 didn't happen because of this issue of Medical still showing me as active. Now I can't reach Medical on the phone after weeks of trying. I tried 3 different numbers, all lead to the same recording which ends my call saying "we're too busy, call back another time". If Alameda Alliance for Health company just did their job, this would have been resolved and a lot of headaches could have been avoided. After I called Alameda Alliance for Health back a new rep said, since I moved out of the area, my account with alliance health was cancelled and there's nothing they can do. My original case # to cancel my medical was never submitted and they cannot submit it now because I am no longer a client of Alameda Alliance for Health. This is a horrible organization with poor customer policies and should not be in business.
