We truly loved this place we seen improvements on my son within a couple weeks. Unfortunately due to our drive we can to find a place closer to home. They truly were amazing and my son was always excited to go! Thank you so much for all your help! We will miss all of you.

Yosef from the intake department is very nice and helpful. When I first was applying for services for my son in October 2024 he helped me through the whole process of the application by explaining me all the details of all what needs to be done, also he informed me how long it can possibly will take before services can start. He’s very detailed about everything and I love that!

This is a cash grab. The therapists are unprofessional and it was overall a very bad experience. If I could give them negative stars I would. Just wait for a real company on the waiting list. This place is 100000% not worth it

I wasn’t going to say anything, but this needs to be said as I’ve been slandered and not listened to by the BCBA and company. And this has put me and my family in a bad position. A RBT here is trying to make me lose my child because she was mad at me that I was uncomfortable with her in my home and around my child. (I never had any issues like this with TotalCare. I wished I could have kept them instead, but they didn’t take his insurance anymore. I never had issues with the 2 RBT’s I had there. ) Although at Discovery this RBT’s interactions with my son weren’t like normal RBT’s she didn’t use any techniques or redirection or anything like his other RBT’s did. Cleaning up, hand on hand, whatever. Her own parenting with her children reflected this as well. Only 2 times did the BCBA supervise her visits and the BCBA was non-existent and hard to get ahold of and everything had to be on her “schedule” I wished we could have had an RBT that was in memphis like total care or more flexible and present like he had there. Not to mention all the long PAID for lunch breaks this RBT had leaving my home to get food and telling me not to tell on her, being late and telling me not to tell on her, using my own personal things in my home etc. The RBT mentioned to me on Wednesday May 22nd 2024 at 12:34pm she felt like my son need a “deliverance” and that demons were attached to me, him, his father. That my neighbor across the street had them as well. That she could “see this with her third eye”. Not expecting this I didn’t know how to react as my child is present and heard everything she said about him and this was just not expected I didn’t feel like she would say something like that. She could tell I was uncomfortable and asked me how I thought about this. I told her I don’t believe in that such of thing and was uncomfortable. She told me she would leave early and she could come back the next day or send another RBT. Since Discovery already knew I was moving in a week and this therapy made my son worse. I told her not to worry about it and I wanted to close the case. She left. That was that I didn’t think it was on any malice until I felt like I should tell the BCBA since everything she said was unstable and unprofessional of an RBT. The BCBA would not let me even speak or tell my side. She pushed me off and I could tell she didn’t believe me. Discovery needs to watch her and have BCBAs supervise more. I know it’s hard to find local ones but this shouldn’t have happened with my child and in the comforts of my home. Th BCBA proceeded to tell me that “the RBT may have said some religious opinions” but not the ones I quoted that they were “too far fetched” that the RBT said “I physically harmed my child on more than one occasion and was overwhelmed” that the RBT and BCBA and Discovery reported me to child protective services for this. And also that quote on quote “when this situation happened may 22nd at 12:34 pm she allegedly said that she caught me harming my child and I cursed her out and she left” if that happened and she said I did it more than once why not “mandate report it before?” Why not quit before? Why not call the police and tell them you’re being verbally harassed ? Why wait until after to tell her BCBA later on and not immediately? There’s protocol for these situations. They value an opinion for someone that wasn’t working long at the company. And they weren’t supervising it or had any proof. It sounded like she was trying to not lose her job and didn’t want me to report her to the bcba about the things she said to us and that it looks bad my child’s case didn’t work with her. I would do a thorough background and see her other clients and beware if she has or will do something similar again. Businesses can get lawsuits over these situations. Probably why she sought out a business with no to little supervision. My child was upset and uncomfortable with her and keeps bringing this up to me. She even (RBT) went as far as to slander me to people I knew and was friends with.
