Great Educational Institute for Individuals with Autism and other learning disabilities 👍🏾. Small classes and almost the same ratio of staff. Several BT's, BS,Supervisor, Lead BT, Teacher and a Crisis Interventions Staff. 🤷🏾What more can you ask for for your child!?

Previously one of the best schools for individuals with an Autism Diagnosis in the region, The Vista School has been plagued by staffing issues and mismanagement since COVID. The school these days is experiencing declining enrollment and inexperienced staff. Communication between the school and parents is lacking, students are being reassigned to different classrooms mid year, and Community Based Instruction opportunities are regularly being cancelled, paraprofessionals (Speech, OT, PT and Behavioral Services) are short staffed and while the school is promising to make up missed time the time that needs to be made up is reaching an impossible level. As parents of a student who attends we can not, in good conscience, recommend the school to other parents looking to find placement for their child on the spectrum.
