I've had nothing but a wonderful experience at Bardin. This center restored my faith in therapy. My autistic son went from speaking no words at age 3, to: mimicking constantly, labeling objects spontaneously, requesting things with verbal language, responding to questions with verbal language, and best of all ...saying "I love you!" all on his own! He also had improvement in his problem behaviors of eloping, not listening, and social play. The therapists and BCBA's here are wonderful. They were flexible with treatment hours, extremely communicative on his goals and progress, and most of all compassionate and loving. They made me and my son feel important. When we moved out of state we were devastated to leave this center behind. As far as the one negative review of this place? Don't know what they're talking about. We had crappy private insurance, and my son's medicaid was pending for over a year. Bardin never once charged me a penny until it finally came through. We love Bardin Behavioral Health!

My child went here over a year off and on and because his insurance lapsed for 13 days they kicked him out and then blamed his AUTISTIC BEHAVIOR. The worst part is instead of being straightforward when his insurance lapsed they decided to make me think they were waiting for his insurance to process but they were going to kick him out. As an autism parent, it's frustrating that my child got kicked out of a behavioral center for his behaviors. Mind you he goes to school and other therapies and doesn't have these behaviors!
