My son was diagnosed with autism 6 years ago. Anyone who has a special needs child understands how incredibly challenging the typical day to day routine is. My son's biggest struggle was eating. We had been working with several different agencies prior to Behavior by Design. We had no luck with any of them, and started to become super frustrated, demoralized, and defeated. My wife and I decided to try one last agency and that was Behavior by Design. They were an absolute godsend!!! When we began with them my son only had about a dozen foods he would eat with regularity. Over the course of 5 years, with a consistent and strategic therapy plan, they pushed my son out of his comfort zone, with the utmost care, respect, and love and finally got him eating. He was just discharged last week and is now eating around 100 different foods!!! Some I would've never even dreamed he would try, yet alone eat with pleasure. The best part is that they come to your home. Anyone with young children in school and sports, along with working parents, can appreciate the convenience this affords you. They truly feel like part of our family. We will be forever grateful for their services, and the help they provided my son. He is like night and day from where he started, and is now thriving!! From the bottom of my heart... thank you so much Behavior by Design!!!!

Very unprofessional. Brought multiple concerns to their attention and received zero response about the concerns. We felt uncomfortable with having a male service provider in our home, their response was “he won’t have a job and you will be waiting a long time for a female”, asking us to set aside our comfortability in our own home so they can give shifts to their employee. Also they had an employee who was recently sick, we expressed we were not comfortable with that as our twin sons have chronic lung disease and compromised immune systems. They said “we will make this one time exception” when we expressed we were not comfortable with them coming to our house being sick recently . I expressed my concerns about these two particular situations and their response was only “Hi Bobby, you will be sent discharge paperwork via email from our administrator within the next few days.” No response at all to our experience that was brought to their attention.
