Families of special needs children may feel isolated, disconnected, overwhelmed and have little or no resources. WallynZavys Autistic Kids can do, offers a family oriented comfortable environment great for families looking for support, encouragement,, education and advocacy while connecting with others on the same journey. NJ has an high rate of Autism diagnosis and organizations like WallynZavy’s are scarce and greatly needed as well as beneficial to families with children newly diagnosed as well as families on different stages of development. My son has blossomed and I see a difference from the first time my son became a part of this group. I recommend this group to anyone on this journey.

My grandson and I have been involved with Mrs.Taleana Hurst and her organization WallynZavy's Autistic Kids Can Do for over 4 years. My association with her organization has helped to educate and prepare me to assist my grandson Omar with social skills, which benefits him in adjusting to meeting with peers in social groups, meeting with employers as well as gaining skills that would benefit him and his future. This organization truly helps individuals with autism.

I was looking for an activity for my daughter. She needed to find an outlet to help her with transitioning from adolescent into adulthood. We couldn’t pick just any location due to the fact that she was aging out of the special education program. I colleague told me about Wally and Zavy foundation. We inquired and looked into the services they offer. It just happened that they not only offered an art class but a few others. The center’s location also fit our family’s needs but they offer social outings which offers a feeling of family. I’m glad we found them because my daughter has been able to socialize with others and create new friendships. They support of the members has helped her handle her anxiety and lowered her stress. All of the young men and women treat each other as family. I couldn’t think of a better group of people. NO not a group of people but a better extension to our FAMILY.
