Boost Kids

We found Boost Kids as a recommendation from some other parents at our school, and are so glad that we were able to get our son in here. We were originally attracted to Boost for their approach to OT, and also largely because of their in house gym, since our son needs physicality. He met with Mimi, and I cannot express how excited he was every week to go to class with her. Mimi is fantastic. As for the quality of OT, our son (and us) learned new rhythms and skills that have made a quantifiable change in our son's life. His school is happy, we're happy, and most importantly our son is so happy.

Elizabeth, the Admin Assistant is really awesome. We have had weird things to happen with our son's insurance changing and she has been so helpful getting those things taken care of as well as helping us by making sure we have everything that we need. Ms. Cindy and Ms. Pam (OTs) are really nice as well. Our son really likes both of them and enjoys his therapy with them.

Great initial eval with Chelsey. She was patient with my daughter and listened to all my concerns. I didn’t feel judged at all, but very supported. I left feeling hopeful this will finally be the thing that works to help my child.

Enrolling our 4 year old autistic son into ABA therapy at BYS in Crystal Lake has been a wonderful experience. The center is staffed by professionals who go above and beyond for the children there. My wife and I are most impressed by the staffs ability to combine clinical expertise with their own lived experience, to provide an individual treatment plan for our child. Ginna Velo has done an amazing job helping to "unlock" Our sons ability to engage and it has shifted the entire family dynamic in a more positive direction. We cant say enough and are truly thankful. All of the staff has always gone above and beyond, not just with my child, but with anything I needed or questions I had. All the staff are incredible with my kid and my kid has a great time there and I have seen significant progress in my kid. Saying all that is just the tip of the iceberg for what they do. Their whole center is themed based rooms, school preparation, and autism awareness and tips and tricks for the whole family. They decorated for the holidays and it was something out of the Elf movie, just absolutely magical and I was so grateful my kids got to experience the center's creativity and magic they brought to the season(s). As a single parent they have always listened and understood my situations and help collaborate and find solutions. They have been flexible, informative- not only with ABA centers, insurance, policy, procedures, but with schedule (even when it was difficult for them). They prioritize the child (and family) above themselves. I've been through birth to 3 program, early intervention, public school with IEP & ISP, seen specialist and therapist, but By Your Side stands out in excellence. Trying to navigate and figure this all out on my own, I have never been as supported as a parent by anyone else other than By Your Side. Let alone all the support and care they give my child. I could not express enough how highly I recommend By Your Side.
