Therapist is awesome Been getting treatment for six months and I've had some really big breakthroughs

Used to be good. Recently fired 2/3 of their psychiatrists for seriously questionable reasons. Fired me as a client after they fired the doctor I've been with for literally 20 years. Also closed their on site pharmacy, firing all workers there. They've been acquired by a corporation, so you know all they're going to want to do is squeeze as much money out of patients as possible. Good luck, you'll need it. Prayer strongly advised

DO NOT RECEIVE SERVICES FROM HERE. the people here are EXTREMELY unprofessional. i was not treated as if i was cared for at all. my psychiatrist was late for appointments numerous times, sometimes 20-30 minutes. it is extremely hard to reach someone on the phone to receive service and some of the phone operators are rude. getting prescriptions refilled is a hassle and pain, even if you are going through withdrawals, they do not care and will not try to help you. i have never become so frustrated with a healthcare service until i came here.

If I could add 0 I would. Ove the past 3-5 years I've seen 3 different providers because the good ones keep leaving for their own sanity. Dr. Morrow was INCREDIBLE. Then Ms. Elizabeth (NP) was kind but short-lived. Dr. Hobbs I was in absolute crisis and he was also INCREDIBLE. The front office staff literally makes you feel like you aren't worthy of living. I gave them the benefit of the doubt trying to remind myself they are burnt out probably, but then I realized just how many people and how often they treat patients like they don't care if they live or die. From medication refill issues to unnecessary visits when you've already established care and just need a refill.... to intolerance of reschedules (because LIFE is messy), to downright hanging up on you when you try to advocate for yourself and trying to make you feel guilty about asking questions.... it's HORRIFIC how they treat people with mental health risks and concerns. I had to explain why I couldn't wait over the weekend to refill my prescription because I need a psychiatrist for a reason. The actual providers have all been good, but the turn over, 'policies' that don't accommodate for those with mental illness (can't see a provider on video even for a refill without coming in person first) when through no fault of our own, we have to go through everything all over again like they can't read notes or a chart.... and the front office... it's truly not worth my mental wellness and probably not yours.

I’ve seen a kid throw his food on the floor and he was made to pick it up and eat it, another kid dropped their fork on the floor and it was given to them without washing it or anything. I have seen therapist chatting with others than spending the time with their student.

My 8 year old son has been going to Behavioral Innovations-SOUTHLAKE for the past 8 months. We were skeptical of trying services like ABA but when public school fell behind in their staff and communication, all signs pointed to trying ABA. We have an incredible BCBA named Samantha Klein who you can tell does this job because she loves her job, takes it seriously and loves connecting with her patients. She listens to every thing we say as parents and if there’s something she is unfamiliar with, she goes above and beyond to learn more and do more research. Every therapist that works with my son every day are really great people, you can feel that they all really do care about all the kids they work with. My son loves going in every morning and there has not been a day where he didn’t willingly enter the building and go back with his therapists. He is happy every morning, and has really thrived with 1 on 1 therapies. Their office staff doing behind the scenes work are also very kind, hard working and wonderful people. Every single person in this building truly cares. The communication plays a major roll in our love and respect for BI-Southlake. There is a portal for me to see how he does for each session and a take home paper with even more detail of his entire day. Life looked very different for us just 8 months ago, I’m glad that we made the decision to try and trust Behavioral Innovations- Southlake. We will be very sad when we have to leave because everyone there has really made a huge difference and impact in our families lives. We are very thankful and grateful for their patience, their time, and their huge hearts.

Behavioral Innovations was an absolute godsend for our family. The staff welcomed us with open arms and continued to support our family our whole journey. From the front desk to the therapist and to our dedicated BCBA the entire experience was AMAZING!!! My child has excelled since graduating his programs at Behavioral Innovations. We are forever grateful for all the support and encouragement they continued to give my little one.

There was a great presentation of the place and I truly believe in the ABA Therapy process. The only issue is the first three days I was sending my son there, he would return with the same amount of food I had sent with him. This was very concerning and almost made me withdraw my son from the program. Thankfully they changed that and he has been fed ever since. Helpful staff and very reasonable.

I am extremely grateful for the wonderful experience my kid is getting with his BCBA Ms. Shanna McCarthy and her awesome team at BI Alliance. The passion and dedication they exhibit towards teaching and nurturing students' growth are truly commendable. Thank you!
