Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy Learning Academy

Chatterbox (at least in Nampa) kind of feels like the puppy mill of pediatric therapies. They don't seem like they are invested in the relationships between the clinicians and the children. They are constantly offering to have your child attend random sessions with strangers that your child doesn't know (which is hard on special needs children). They care more about getting slots filled and getting paid than the relationship of your child. Moreover, their attendance policy is very inflexible. We had 100% attendance rate at the initial time we scheduled. We changed times to try to help our child do better in school, with the understanding that due to my husband's (who is a firefighter) unique work schedule, we would have predictable lapses in attendance. They assured us that we would not be penalized for this, and that the time would work. When I got the notification to state that we were on probation for said (known in advance) absences, and I tried to reach out, the owner texted me to say that we could no longer have a regular spot for one of his therapies. We were offered a "flex" schedule, in which we would have to call and hope for compatible cancelations. But I feel like we were misinformed when we changed times and that we received exceptionally poor customer service. Then, when we went to attend the other therapy (which was never discussed- we weren't "on probation"), we found we had had all of our appointments canceled without notice and without any attendance violations on our part. Thankfully there are other providers in the area who care more than about the bottom line. The only reason why it isn't 1 star is because I didn't hate the actual SLPs or PTs who provided the care. Just wish the admin staff were better.

We have loved Chatterbox for pediatric speech therapy. They are great at meeting your child where they are at and working with them in a positive way to make progress. My son thinks that the game closet is the best thing ever! Miss Jenny and Miss Rachel have both been fantastic!

My son has tongue thrust and Itxaso has been amazing with him. She is always patient and kind and truly loves helping kids. She takes the time to explain to me exactly what they are working on and gives us "homework" so I know how to help

Chatterbox is a phenomenal therapeutic place to take your kids. All the therapists are friendly an super helpful. Paige is my son's therapist and from day one I could tell she cared an was motivated to help him improve. Would recommend to any and all friends and family.

Weve used this company for duo services from physical therapy to speech therapy years apart; and their environment , services, feel, communication is just beyond amazing and full of success. My child loves coming here and looks forward in coming in week after week. There has been tremendous improvement in skills as far as language usage and physical abilities. Beyond happy with the choice of coming here. Miss abby was my sons pathologist and I definitely recommend her!

We started bringing our almost 2 year old daughter, Capri to Chatterbox for speech therapy about a month ago and we instantly saw how amazing this practice is. Everyone greets you with a smile and sense of calmness which has been great for our daughter who is still adjusting to this new place! We cannot say enough good things about Miss Abby! She has been an incredible speech therapist for our daughter, and we feel so lucky to have found her. From the very first session, it was clear how kind, patient, and genuinely caring she is.
