They refused and turned my children away, saying that there’s psychiatrist is not equipped enough to handle them I never in my life heard of a psychiatrist child psychiatrist that cannot help a child. You are a psychiatrist as what you’ve been trying to do and what you went to school to do. I’ve told them my child does not have the correct diagnosis. I ask for help and was told to go elsewhere they never met my child. They just asked me some questions. They never even diagnosed my child but yet they do extensive diagnosis, but turned away my children I did talk to my brother who is literally becoming a psychiatrist he said that’s full of crap it’s like a doctor saying I’m not equipped enough to handle this case child sickness go elsewhere they sent away my children, especially my child knowingly he needs help mental health help they only seem to take the cases that are easy to them and what they want to help that’s easy I told my caseworker and she was like I never heard of that that it’s freaking weird

Awhile back I had to cancel appointment due to scheduling two things at once on accident. I called on a Saturday or Sunday not expecting someone to answer the phone. (I told them I was calling to cancel appointment well anyways the person on the phone said they would email my therapist NEVER did! Which was now considered a no call no show) I did get a call from Doug stating that I missed appointments and what not and counted that one. I always cancel during the 24-48 hour mark if I had to cancel! I tried telling Doug that I did call and said he couldn’t find my call as I didn’t leave a voicemail. Well today I tried emailing the therapist I was seeing to see if he would take me back on to do therapy cause he was the only therapist I got along with very well. But was pretty much told no. Thanks to someone not emailing after they said they would. I don’t blame the therapist at all. I blame the people who said they would email him and never did! Be careful on what you do make sure you note down everything so you don’t go through what I did! Other then that it was a great place to have therapy!!

Providers don’t offer notes for emotional support animals, which are a vital part of many’s psychiatric care plan.
