My child has been going to this clinic since last September and still has autism. 1 star. Kidding aside, they are wonderful. My little one loves going here, and has made tremendous progress. All BCBAs and BTs have been very loving, attentive, and helpful. They are excellent therapists and the nicest people. With children you can always tell if they receive attention and love, because they reciprocate quickly and in our case it really shows. My child loves everyone here and is always smiling and happy when we arrive and at pickup. Started non-verbal and has slowly started saying some words and we are very excited. My little one's communication and behavioral skills have massively improved in all aspects. Only issue is the staffing and turnover rates which cause some disruption in the schedule, but honestly I can't blame them, this field is plagued uniformly by that, and a solution can only be achieved by state and federal efforts, and, given the current state of things, I sadly can't see that issue being solved at a national level for the foreseeable future. But they are doing their best to accommodate and for that I am grateful. I can't recommend them enough. 5 stars (for real this time).

My son loved going to this clinic. Everyone is so nice. Helping Hands Family really is the best around, in my opinion. We switched to a HHF clinic closer to us and I know the Pittsburgh clinic staff left a lasting impression on our family. The Mount Lebanon clinic is also great.

We’ve had a great experience with Helping Hands Family! They come to our son’s school to help with mainly aggression and following directions/participating in class, which he struggled with a lot at the beginning of the year. We’ve seen a huge improvement! He now asks for “space” or the calm down area when needed, he’ll ask classmates to play with him, and participates in class activities. Most importantly, no more scratching or hitting other kids which was happening almost every day and required the teacher’s aide to focus all of her attention on him. Our son loves going to school and we feel much less anxious knowing he’s not showing aggressive behaviors like he was early on. Our BCBA, Jamie, has been wonderful! And so have our BTs! We highly recommend HHF!
