Foundations Pediatric Center LLC

Foundations has been such a blessing for my dyslexia journey! From the initial phone call to now Shelby and Jessica have been so welcoming, understanding, and patient! I was self-conscious and a little terrified to get tested for dyslexia as a 23 year old adult. I am so glad I did because this has been such an amazing experience with the best support from Shelby and Jessica! I went through the evaluation process with Jessica then she helped me get accommodations for graduate school. Now I am going through the Barton Tutoring program with Shelby which has helped me not only with reading, writing, and spelling but it has also helped me build confidence in myself! Never once have they made me feel like I was wasting their time and they have both made sure I am comfortable every step of the way. They have both been very thorough and take the time to make sure I truly understand everything. I will forever be thankful for the safe and supportive environment that Foundations offers to their patients of ALL ages!

My son has been at Foundations Pediatric Center for one year and it has been a wonderful experience. He LOVES going to speech and seeing Mrs. Shelby! In this year he has improved dramatically with his speech. We are now able to understand him more and we can even hear him pronouncing his letters correctly. We are grateful for Mrs. Shelby and Mrs. Jessica. They are knowledgeable, kind, and make speech fun for Sutton. I ask a ton of questions about when he gets to Kindergarten next year and Mrs. Shelby is always reassuring about his progress! I HIGHLY recommend Foundations for speech therapy!

Starting your child in speech therapy can be scary and have a lot of unknowns for most parents. Shelby helped ease those nerves for both myself and my son! She provided comfort and understanding - while not only helping his speech but also helping instill confidence in him. My son has now "graduated" speech therapy, but because of Shelby he has the tools to self correct if/when he's struggling and I have the tools to properly help him as well.
