The place saved my life. I found groups in town and a great therapist because I found them . They also accept Medicaid which then I was able to get therapy and psychiatric appointments

The therapist Monica was very kind and understanding. I came because I was having issues with sleep and depression. However the psychiatrist Temi tried to diagnose me with bipolar disorder despite never having a history of manic episodes. Whem I tried to ask how I could have bipolar without manic episodes she tried to claim you can have bipolar and only ever experience depression which is simply not true. I saw a sleep specialist and it turns out I actually have sleep apnea which was the cause of my insomnia.

Groups are a joke. I worked with a case worker who was not at all supportive, made ableist comments, did not provide me with anything useful and just stressed me out even more. I told her from the start that I primarily needed to find housing so that I could have somewhere to go besides my toxic family home after graduating college, and she said at that time (March) that we had plenty of time and didn't need to start looking yet since I had until August. When I finally brought it up again when it was only 1 or 2 months before I needed to be out, she told me everywhere would have a long waitlist and that there are very few options in this area. So why didn't we get started right away? I said from the beginning that I was totally clueless and needed help, and she did not listen to me or provide me with help at all.

What a JOKE !!! Friend called for appointment...covered by Medicare. "We can't bill Medicare because none of our providers are Medicare approved." So that's great ... discriminate based on insurance coverage. SMH. Thought that wasn't legal but apparently they get away with it. Asked when they planned to get a Medicare approved provider and was told they don't have plans to do thst. So, if you need mental health care you're out of luck if you have Medicare

This place used to be great. But since the nurse to the psychiatrist left it's been impossible to get refills in between appointments. I call and speak to the person now working with the doctor and she says she will talk to the doctor. I call numerous times but nothing happens. I am only able to get my meds refilled when I have an appointment over the phone every 2 months. I am mentally messed up without the proper meds.
