Amazing therapy service, I went between three different places before I landed here and I was so happy! They make you feel at home and welcome and part of a family. Never once did I feel judgment coming in like I have through other places I went. I would recommend checking them out adult or child they really do care here and want to help you though life. Thank you Maria and your team for everything you do!

It’s time. I was waiting to write this review, because the experience with Hand in Hand was so painful that I needed some time. The therapist I was visiting with, I’ll call her K, was a little too enthusiastic about online therapy. She had her phone notifications on. And she was obviously not listening to me, as she was on her laptop scrolling through things. She started fabricating what she thought she was summarizing, confusing names of friends whom I had mentioned several times. This was the second of only two sessions. I cut this visit short to basically 35 minutes. What was one of the worst parts: I was talking about how I feel like people chronically do not listen to me. Even K complimented me on how calmly I handled the upset. I had called her on it, but instead of acknowledging all of the turmoil this had caused to her too, she tried to smooth it over and recommend other therapists. She gave flaccid advice about coping mechanisms instead of having any real advice for the issues at the core. I might have taken her up on her advice to see other therapists there, but the other staff were very lethargic and gossiped a lot in plain heating of clients. Overall, the worst mental health experience I have ever had.
