Jo Opitz failed me and my family as a counselor. She met with my child only once, yet wrote a sweeping letter that felt biased and disconnected from the purpose of reunification. There was no structured assessment, no meaningful progress, just advocacy disguised as therapy. She also reported that a bill had not been paid, when in fact it had I have proof of payment. That kind of inaccuracy reflects poorly on her professionalism and raised serious concerns for me about trust and integrity. According to Oil City News (Feb. 10, 2025), Jo Opitz was arrested for domestic battery in Natrona County. That’s a matter of public record. In my view, it’s deeply troubling for someone with that background to be positioned in authority over vulnerable children and families. In my opinion, Jo Opitz is unfit to work with families in crisis. She came across as biased, reckless, and unprofessional. Families who are already struggling deserve competent, impartial support not this. I strongly advise avoiding her services.

Our family has been going to Harmony Health for three years. We have found the therapists here to be finnicky, and there's a reason you're always having to bounce professionals here. Seems they cannot keep people on a schedule at all. We have seen 4-5 different therapists here due to no room for schedule accommodations. If you're disabled, it doesn't matter - if you don't give them that full day notice, you're getting billed. Mental Health Hub we were able to afford because we were not punished for disability flareups. Us leaving was easy. Just go to the Mental Health Hub, where they actually treat you like a family seeking real solutions for their children. We were SHOCKED that our custody arrangement and coparenting were so deeply disrespected by HH. Despite being the one who arranged everything, HH violated my contract with them, spoke to a combative coparent and not me, who was contracted originally and as Primary with all medical and legal final say. For THREE YEARS this office heard about our struggles, and within three months any respect or trust we did have (despite the scheduling and fees) was obliterated. Yeah, AVOID. Spare your family the pain and go visit Mental Health Hub! We are now nearing 3 yrs going through them with the adults in the house, and nearing 4 months with the kids. Day and night! We are autonomous, respected, and things are ACTUALLY kept confidential between CLIENTS, not unauthorized third parties.

This is family oriented clinic. Safety for clients Is their priority. Give them a tour and you will not be disappointed. Staff are professional, polite. 5 stars.
