This place is so awesome and I am happy that they take care of people in need. All the staff is really nice and the doctors care very much! This is why there are so many reviews about how hard it is to get in. May God bless this place always!

I was told it could be difficult to get scheduled. The process was straight forward and had at max 1 month wait beforefirst appointment. I was given paperwork for the school and myself to complete. My Initial visit was with Dr. Snook, he went over some general questions, performed physical exam and reviews the process to come. The assessment appointments were conducted without reviewing paperwork so they could evaluate without a biased expectation. Mrs. Jordan was very friendly and charming with my son. Dr. Morgan was straight forward on the process and covered her findings very well. The final review was very thorough with all parties. I feel they cared about their patient and extremely helpful.

Super nice if you have money. If you don't, they will just waste your time, gas, and energy. I agree with several people. Mental health places should help, not make things worse. People who are seeking help go somewhere else. I feel that this experience was designed to hurt me. Show me what I could get my child, if I wasn't fighting for disability. Currently unemployed for well over a year. They told me that the hundreds of dollars in this appointment was not covered by any insurance company but it was optional. Then comes around time to discuss the test results they came up with......they cancelled it....because I don't have almost $300. Can't go any further with treatment. Which just makes them seem money hungry. And I'm only writing this review in hopes it helps at least one person. Although if you have money, I'm sure they will take good care of you. Mental health matters but only when you can afford it. At this place anyway. I'm going to keep trying til I find a place that wants to actually help.

This place is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to getting in. I got the run around with getting my son a counselor. Was given misinformation when I first came to get him in. Got called several times and still more differing information. Finally got him an appointment after two of the secretaries fussed and rolled eyes at each other. I personally waited several months to be tested, with a referral from my pcp. Went in and filled out some papers with an appointment a few days after to get the results. The day before the results I got a call around 930 am cancelling the appointment. Called them back at noon and an automated system said they were closed. Called back about 430 and was told that since I did not answer them right away I now have to wait over a month to get my results. You have better luck getting into a cult than getting help here. If you are seeking help for mental health issues the place you go to shouldn’t add to the issues. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!

Very disappointed. Initial visit.. "we will call you back within a week to schedule testing" 2 weeks pass.. absolutely nothing.. I call and after 2 or 3 days of going back and forth they finally schedule for an all day visit of testing. They schedule the parent visit a couple days later after testing for the results.. On the way to the parent visit they call an hour before my appointment to cancel but yet they require you to give them 24 hour notice for canceling. I tell the lady I will have to call back to confirm if I can come to the next appointment due to last minute changing. In less than an hour that appointment is gone after my work confirmed that I could take off. Then they want to schedule appointments spaced out several hours thoughout the day. So now you cancel my appointment, cant give me the one offered, and want me to spend another entire day off work and i live over an hour away from this office Mind you, this is all to get results of testing. It includes no evaluations, just results which i already have premise of what they are, But THEY are requiring this OFFICIAL parent meeting (2 to be precise) to give me the results of testing already paid for. THEY REQUIRE this official parent meeting that is not covered by insurance. The results are basically held ransom for $240 and/or however long it is for them reschedule which is now Jan 31st, don't know the times because AMBER hung up without giving it to me. This is not about quality patient care or these children struggling in school. This process started in August and now ee wont even begin a treatment plan until Jan 31st. Basically over half a school year is gone before your child can even attempt to get help. I am stuck to get the results but I definitely would find another provider. One that shows the same consideration and respect they DEMAND from their patients.

After several recommendations we decided to come to the Connections Clinic seeking a place that would take TIME with our special needs son and not just send us on our way. Despite the reviews we saw online, we wanted to give it a shot! Since it is a 2 hour drive we were hesitant to commit to a place that was a little far from home but it was the best decision we have made for our son. Every person we have spoken to or worked with at The Connections Clinic has been SO helpful and kind and you do not feel rushed through appointments. The drive is WELL worth it. A hundred times. If you are dissatisfied with a current treatment plan for you or your loved one, please consider The Connections Clinic. We see Dr. Ronald Kent, he is super nice, patient, very informative, and great with kids. My son is usually so shy or just does not do well with new people at all but he loves Dr. Kent and even ran to give him a big hug only the third time seeing him. With the plan they have suggested for us our son is doing the BEST we've ever seen, especially when it is important like when he is at school. His behavior chart was previously filled with yellow, orange, and red, (the not so good colors) now we only see Green, Blue, Purple, and the never before seen, Pink!! Behavior on the playground has greatly improved as well. Reading scores, behavior during centers, and his focus and attention during circle time has also improved. His teachers have said they definitely see positive improvement since the beginning of the school year. We are so proud of him and are so thankful for his medical team at The Connections Clinic.
