Heart of Behavior

I would have been completely lost before I found Heart of Behavior. My son and I were with them for about seven years, until he aged out of their program. What I love most about Heart is that it doesn't feel like a clinic—it feels more like going to grandma's house, where everyone is understanding and supportive.

Heart of Behavior has made an incredible impact on our family and loved ones. Heart of Behavior is center that really makes a huge impact of lives of the children and families that its serves out in the country setting which makes for a wonderful playground for outdoor play. It's close to E University Dr and Loop 288, so it's easy to get to. It's a true treasure in Denton.

Behavior frontiers is very professional and will work with your insurance. My kids have made a ton of progress working with them over the past year, even through the pandemic. If you're on the fence call them and get that ball rolling now, you won't regret it.

We opted for Behavior Frontiers for ours kid's ABA therapy from June 2020 and it was one of the best decisions that we made. We contacted them during April 2020. They scheduled an evaluation via telehealth in May and started the session in early June. We believe this worked really well for us considering the Covid-19 pandemic. They did not push for too many hours of therapy for the sake of it. This was an area of concern for us when we were looking for a provider. After almost one year of therapy with them, our kid has shown tremendous progress. They listen to our concerns and developed plan to address those. Our kid's case manager Gwen has been good with identifying and curating plans for our kid . Behavior Therapist's under Gwen were really good, who were genuinely interested in helping the kid and not just running programs. Despite being in a pandemic, they have been able to provide sessions consistently with the same BT's. They have a good Covid-19 protocol in place to ensure safety for everyone involved, however due to this sometimes sessions are cancelled as precaution. Overall, our experience has been good. Would definitely recommend.

Horrible ABA provider. They are very professional liars. Don’t expect to see improvements in your kid with them. BTs are not well trained, sessions are mostly like baby-sitting. Our one of the BTs was ignoring the kid during the sessions. Case manager and BCBA are not really following BTs and the case. Hire your kid a nanny, it is the same thing with having an ABA therapy from Behavior Frontiers.
