HSA Eligible Speech Therapy of Des Plaines

A few days ago, my daughter, Dominika, had speech therapy sessions with Ms. Monika Krzywosz. Ms. Monika is a very warm and kind person, very professional, and committed to helping her patients. She has a wonderful way with children. You could feel that her work is her passion. It's clear she loves what she does and devotes herself to it completely. The sessions were tailored to the patient's needs and interests. The exercises were dynamic, from easier to more challenging, and the entire process was based on play. Ms. Monika had teaching aids at her disposal, which she used during the sessions. She explained everything clearly to the child and was perfectly prepared for the sessions. Ms. Monika has a great ability to engage children with interesting tasks. My daughter was very motivated and very happy with the sessions led by Ms. Monika.

I can’t say enough good things about Broad Horizons Speech Therapy. As a parent it can be intimidating to reach out for help when you notice your child needs some support or is not meeting some milestones. Broad Horizons makes this process so smooth and they genuinely care about helping you to understand each step. My son LOVED going to see his therapist each week…just building his confidence alone along with increasing his communication skills is something we will forever be grateful for! The team at Broad Horizons is excellent and we highly recommend their services. It took us quite some time to find a good fit for our daughter and were so grateful when we found Broad Horizons. Our daughter successfully completed her treatment plan and didn’t want to leave the practice because she enjoyed her time there so much. I liked that each therapist takes the time to meet with the parents after each session to review what was covered and areas we can reinforce at home.

Teresa, Sydney and team are warm, skillful and know their stuff. They helped our 18 month old make rapid progress, and gave us tools to carry the lessons from speech therapy to home. Their operations, scheduling and billing are also top notch. We strongly recommend SF Speech Therapy

Broad Horizons is amazing. We had a hard time finding a speech therapist in our area, and we were happy to find out they could provide therapy to our son via video. The experience has been great. Ms. Henry is amazing. She makes my child feel comfortable. I also appreciate the communication with the administrative staff.

We’ve had an incredible experience here! My 4-year-old son, who has Childhood Apraxia of Speech, works with Sydney and Teresa, and I couldn’t ask for better SLPs. Not only are they highly skilled, but they also make therapy so much fun that my son LOVES going to his sessions. The transformation has been remarkable—he’s excited to attend, and I actually have trouble getting him to leave! This is a complete turnaround from our previous clinic, where sessions felt like a struggle. I’m beyond grateful for the personal dedication that Sydney brings to every session. Highly recommend this clinic for any child needing speech therapy.

My 2 year old son has been receiving speech therapy services at Broad Horizons for about 6 months now. He went from speaking about 10-12 words to now over 70. His receptive and expressive language have improved greatly and he is saying new words daily now. Both Ms. Henry and Ms. Farinella (Paige) are incredible SLPs and I recommend them highly. Also, the staff is receptive to feedback and open to collaboration as me and my 4 year old daughter attend my son’s sessions. Sitting in sessions allows me to implement what happens in sessions at home. We are looking forward to continuing with Broad Horizons:) I share this opinion as both a stay at home mom and former preschool teacher!

When we first started speech therapy, we were terrified of the unknown. We are very glad to have found Janice! She became a partner in our journey and her advice has not only improved our baby’s speech but also play development. We find that the sessions are practical and she is very encouraging. Janice is passionate and always goes the extra mile to explain ideas to us. We are very happy with our baby’s progress!
