Inquiring Minds - Behavioral and Developmental Services

Our child was a client here for just over a year. While he was there, I frequently received texts asking me to pick him up because he had a fever but 9/10 times he would be fine when I picked him up. I often took him straight to our doctor upon picking him up as well, and he was nearly always fine. I can’t be sure, but I suspect that they struggled with his autism-related behaviors and his energy level. We enrolled him in public school a little over a year or so ago and he hasn’t had a single mystery ‘fever’ since leaving IM. The clinic was also frequently short-staffed and seemed to have a high turnover when it came to their RBTs.

I have 2 littles who both attend Inquiring Minds for therapeutic services. My kids seem to genuinely enjoy their days here and leave smiling and happy! I attribute so much of my children's growth to the play based ABA therapy they have been receiving through this company. The facility is always very clean and well maintained. I feel like there is great communication with the BCBAs, RBTs, and the parents, which is so important to me. There is a bit of a high turn over rate which can cause some scheduling snafoos but it in no way outweighs the benefits of the therapy! Before I decided to put my kids in ABA therapy, I was well aware of the controversy surrounding this particular type of therapy. I reached out to an autism advocate who she herself had autism, and she said her ABA team was instrumental in helping her experience life to its fullest. I recommend this place to anyone in need of services they provide!

I am a nanny for a 5-year-old who has started therapy here. He LOVES to come to Inquiring Minds, especially to see Mr. Jacob. They are great with him, very responsive to his needs, and have offered fantastic insights. I'm not the mom, so I can only go by what I see during the day, and with pick ups/drop offs, but I'm going by his reaction, and he loves it.
