Jeanne is an autism specialist, with a focus adult autistic woman. Due to continued pandemic precautions, all appointments are conducted via Zoom. Jeanne’s open demeanor helps virtual encounters flow as if they were in person, with the benefit of not having to take off time to drive to an appointment.

I am glad that I found Jeanne. After living in Minnesota where I had a therapist I liked, I moved back to Kansas. I was diagnosed as having Aspergers as an adult. I tried on and off to find another therapist over the past eight years and never found one that was helpful or felt like they understood me.

We scheduled an appointment with Ms. Holverstott for an evaluation. Although she had confirmed the date and time of the appointment and sent a call-in link, she did not show up for the (virtual) appointment. We waited on the zoom call for half an hour and tried to call and email her but she never appeared.

Jeanne Holverstott is a professional, empathetic, non judgemental, and highly motivating therapist. Her understanding of Autism is among the best I have known in my lifetime from an allistic person, due in no small part to her commitment to clear communication with her clients.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Jeanne both in individual and group sessions since late 2020. She is insightful and knowledgeable and creates a safe and judgement-free space. I cannot stress enough how much she has helped me in the last 5 years, along with group peers. She fosters honesty and growth without pushing too hard, and sessions often end with clarity and empowerment through practical strategies I can take into personal and professional spaces. I strongly recommend her for anyone seeking a specialist, especially women for late-in-life diagnosis and therapy. 10 out of 5 stars, won’t stop recommending.

I worked with Jeanne during a period when I was seeking autism-informed support later in life, and her understanding of autistic internal experience was both accurate and deeply respectful. I'm so grateful for her ability to recognize high-masking presentations and the internal cost that often goes unseen. I never felt rushed, minimized, or misunderstood. Communication was clear, thoughtful, and - most importantly - worked for me when so many conventional therapeutic relationships had not in the past. Jeanne brings a rare combination of clinical knowledge and practical understanding of autism that made the work feel safe and genuinely helpful. I would strongly recommend her to autistic adults, especially those who have struggled to feel understood in more traditional settings.

Although Jeanne and I first met when she was working with my now-adult children, we’ve continued to share insights across the years. I’m amazed by her knowledge of autism and her understanding of how it informs the day-to-day interactions and behaviors of an autistic person at various stages of life. Without her help, my son and daughter would not be able to function so well in a social system ruled by neuro-typicals. She truly cares about the happiness and success of her clients!

I have been involved along with my son as a client of Jeanne Holverstott for over 7 years. I highly recommend her as an autism specialist. She has a calm demeanor and is a great listener. She is reliable, authentic and professional. She helps my son process his experiences and emotions with positive feedback. She has shared many valuable tools to assist on the job, socially and emotionally. My son has gained insight into his behaviors and his processing of information. She has been extremely valuable in navigating challenging life situations. Her support has been extremely beneficial.

Had a really great experience w/Jeanne. After searching forever for someone that would even SEE adults, let alone AFAB adults, it was so nice to find someone who actually specializes in just that. She made me feel like I was on the right track after years of feeling like I was either making it up or maybe just losing my entire mind. In addition to my dx, Jeanne also helped me with accommodations at work and figuring out how to accommodate myself (instead of working against how my brain works naturally). Have recommended her to friends & coworkers and will continue to do so. Absolutely the person you need if you are questioning if you might be autistic.
