Finding Dream Light ABA has truly been a blessing for our family. From the very beginning, when we called to request a consultation, the owner Yelitza went above and beyond to explain the entire process in detail and provided us with resources we had never even heard of. She took the time to help us get our child started with ABA therapy quickly, understanding the urgency of our situation as our son was experiencing significant behavioral regression. Finding a company that would accept our 16 year old was incredibly difficult most agencies either did not accept teens or had extremely long waiting lists. Within just five weeks, Yelitza had everything in place and therapy services began. From the first day RBT Mariangel came to our home, our son formed an immediate and meaningful connection with her. Their bond has grown into something truly special. We have witnessed a transformation we never thought possible our son has become more confident, calm, and happy than we’ve ever seen him. The progress has been remarkable. Behaviors that were once overwhelming have significantly decreased, and our home life feels balanced again. Since starting at Dream Light ABA in March, our 2½-year-old son Vinny has made incredible progress. When he began, he was mostly babbling, but now he’s consistently using two- and three-word phrases, learning how to calm his body, improving his fine motor skills like using utensils, and using gestures and words to communicate. Watching his growth over just a few months has been truly amazing. His therapists have been so patient and caring every step of the way. Yelitza, the owner and BCBA, has gone above and beyond to make sure Vinny is getting everything he needs and more. It’s clear how much she truly cares about the kids and families she works with. What means the most to us is how genuinely happy Vinny is to go to the clinic. His face lights up the second he sees his therapists and his smile stretches from ear to ear! It’s clear he feels safe, supported, and loved. We’re so grateful for the entire team at Dream Light ABA. Even before we officially became clients, Yelitza went above and beyond to help get our insurance to approve my daughter’s ABA hours something that meant the world to us. Since starting at the clinic, every single staff member has shown such care, patience, and dedication in building a genuine connection with my daughter something that’s not always easy to do. She’s now so comfortable at Dream Light that she asks to go every day, which is a huge shift from the intense separation anxiety and behavioral struggles we experienced with drop-offs in the past. Her RBT, Maggie, has been absolutely incredible. She’s developed a strong, trusting relationship with my daughter that has allowed her to sit, focus, and even use her words to work through difficult tasks. Something that would have led to meltdowns before. When a behavior crisis did occur, the staff responded immediately with compassion and professionalism, communicating with me every step of the way and helping us create a plan to prevent future episodes.
