Kids Village Therapy

When my daughter started at Kidz First Therapy in 2022, she wasn’t walking or crawling yet. Therapy was hard. She cried often when it was time to “work,” and we were navigating a new diagnosis of Dystonia while trying to figure out braces, walkers, and what the future might look like. Four years later, she is thriving. She’s walking, running, skipping... doing things we once prayed she would be able to do. The journey hasn’t been easy, but Kidz First has been with us every step of the way. Over the years, we’ve worked with multiple OT therapists, and now both of my daughters attend speech therapy there as well. Every single therapist and staff member has been beyond incredible. They don’t just teach skills, they build confidence. They celebrate every win, big and small. They’ve helped my daughter not only gain life-changing physical abilities but also a belief in herself that will carry her for years to come. We are endlessly thankful for the team at Kidz First Therapy and for the life skills, encouragement, and care they continue to pour into our girls. Forever grateful. 🤍

We have been a Kidz First family since 2020 and have had the best experience! Miss Kristin has become an honorary member of our family and my kids all look forward to seeing her every week, even though only one of my kiddos receive services. We are always greeted kindly by all staff members and they have gone above and beyond on a couple of occasions to help us navigate our insurance or search for my kiddo’s lost glasses. We highly reccomend this facility and their staff.

My oldest child has been receiving services at Kidz First for eight years and my youngest for four. I have nothing but positive things to say about the therapists there. The sessions are tailored to the individual child and their needs and are modified as the child progresses. The therapists communicate regarding the child’s progress, set goals to help them grow, and truly care about their success. With support and care from Kidz First, my children have learned to self regulate and confidently advocate for their needs. I will be forever grateful for the ways they’ve helped shape my kids into the best versions of themselves.

If you’re looking for therapy that truly sees, respects, and celebrates your child and your family, Kidz First is something special. My Autistic children have been clients at Kidz First Therapy, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the care and community we’ve experienced there. We have been clients for both Occupational and Speech therapy for over six years. From the very beginning, Kidz First has supported not just my children, but our whole family. Their approach is deeply neuroaffirming and strengths-based. Our therapist has walked alongside us through sensory processing concerns, referrals for diagnosis, and ongoing care—working collaboratively with Children’s Mercy, multiple clinics, private practitioners, and school staff. The coordination and communication have been exceptional. Beyond weekly therapy, Kidz First offers summer groups that go beyond “social skills” to intentionally support real friendships and connection. Being a client here feels like having a VIP pass into a community of people who genuinely love, advocate for, and include our family. The clinic itself is big, clean, beautiful, and inviting. My kids love going there. I love going there. And when we’re there, my kids are not just safe—they are thriving. Every aspect of our lives is better because of the calm and skills our family has gained as a direct result of being clients at Kidz First.

We've been going to kidz first for 6 years!! The staff, specifically Miss Kristen, has been life changing for my son and my family. When my kiddo walks in the door he is greeted by multiple therapists who are genuinely invested in his journey as well. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place.
