I was interested for my son to receive ABA therapy here( Lacuna, Las Vegas) but the 2 times we arranged phone appointments , Katie, the Operations Manager did not call me or leave a voicemail. Like, I told her in a email, it's concerning and unprofessional. This action, tells me everything I need to know. This place is not for my son.

My son has been here since October of last year. Everyday he is excited to go. Today is his birthday and the staff went all out for my baby boy. Special Shoutout to Therapists Sean and Ivan who have been angels since day 1. They have helped my son communicate in more ways. They deserve so much for the care that has been provided. It was a struggle to get my kiddo in with Lacuna… but it was worth it. They’re worth the wait, at least based on my experience. My son has been working with two lovely RBTs who are seriously angels who really push him to grow and actually understand him. I’m endlessly grateful for them. The administrative team is excellent as well. They’re very kind and very helpful. They go beyond to help me. My sons team is officially considered family to us, because of how much they have helped our son. 💜

As a retired elementary school teacher, I have experienced a wide variety of behaviors and conditions that stand in the way of a child's full learning potential. A year ago, I knew that my grandson's behaviors were simply not compatible with school. I must admit that when we started with Lacuna last year, I was skeptical that they would be able to help him be ready for school. I was wrong. Fast forward one short year, and the extreme behaviors that would have inevitably gotten him removed from the classroom have almost entirely been extinguished. He is able to communicate his feelings and needs to the family effectively now, and there is so much more peace and happiness in the household. I am confident that ABA, but more importantly (this is KEY), the manner in which Lacuna implements those ABA principles, is why my grandson is happily thriving. Not all clinics are implementing ABA the same, and I can tell you through first-hand experience that these RBTs and BCBAs deeply care about their clients as their own children and are doing wonders for these kids. I am proud of and grateful to Lacuna to say that my grandson is school-ready and I have so much hope for his future.
