Monocacy Neurodevelopmental

My son has been with Monocacy Start Center for almost 5 years now. They have done wonderful in his growth and development. He has Autism and ADHD, and severe rigidity. We do group therapy as well as center based 1:1, and in home ABA. They have really helped him with speech, daily living skills, as well as peer interaction. Highly recommend!

This is not even a service, it is just a way to make money of kids who actually need proper ABA or related therapy. They are always short staffed with young and inexperienced members. The few that worked with our child, that seemed to know what they were doing ended up leaving. The center is unorganized and unprofessional. We ended up pulling our child out of the program.

The Monocacy Neurodevelmental Center was able to provide a relatively quick and thorough Autism evaluation. We saw Dr. Winget a number of times and are very confident in his approach and diagnosis. We turned to MNC after getting on the wait list for Kennedy Krieger and hearing it would take about 1 year for the evaluation to occur. We needed answers soon and went with MNC. We did have difficulty getting to schedule an ABA.

BCBA takes way too long to create materials for their clients. BCBA also insulted me in my home and was judgmental. Staff is highly unorganized, and unprofessional. Constant cancellations for no reason at all. Lack of materials. Zero consistency. Horrible experience.

We absolutely love this ABA center! From day one, the commitment they have shown has gone beyond our expectations. We love our techs! They are amazing and incredibly talented! The team at ABC Flower Mound is awesome! They go above and beyond to ensure our child gets the attention and care she needs. Our child is loved by everyone in this team. Everyone is so awesome at ABA Flower Mound. Our daughter has the best educators that we could ask for. She looks forward to seeing all her favorite people every single day! Shelby is also amazing! We love Action Behavior Center- Central Flower Mound! The staff are all excellent with our daughter. Our BCBA -Audrey, is is so caring and keeps us informed. She genuinely cares about our daughter’s success. Jamie is great, and she is always offering support for any questions we have had. Our daughter loves going to therapy school each day, and she has made so much progress in just the first five months. We are able to have her speech and OT come to her center to do her sessions, so we aren’t running all over town. All of the techs that work with our daughter each day are wonderful! We are very pleased, and we look forward to seeing what our daughter will learn each new day. So happy we found ABC!

I love this place and (surprisingly) my kids do too! Bonus points for Shelby in the front office. My kids are excited to run up and say hi to her every time we come into the office and she always matches their excitement! She is very warm and welcoming every time we come in, and makes my kids feel special.
