Provider i was seeing left the practice which is fine. Was rescheduled with another provider around 1 month ago. When I was rescheduled, they sent me a follow up email early March saying i had to fill out like 12 forms, most of which do not apply to my condition. This is the only email I ever received about filling out these forms so I’ll admit I forgot about them. Then today i received noticed that my appointment was cancelled.. just kind of annoying i would have filled them out but the email was long buried by then. I even filled out 2 questionnaires that they sent me 2 days ago.

I have been a patient at Neuropysch Wellness Center for several years. The doctor is thorough and specific as allowing me to function effectively with a mental illness I’ve suffered most of my life. It gets to be after a while of a chemical imbalance, the correct administration of medications can balance one to carry on with some counseling to lead a productive and happy life. This I have found at the Center with my Doctor. Their care has allowed me to follow a healthier path avoiding the pitfalls of a mental illness. Not perfect but manageable.

Please Note: I use my doctors' first name in this review. To start, I don't know where I would be without Dr. Grace or Dr. Simrit. I've been seeing Dr. Simrit at Neuropsych since 2021 for medication management. Her knowledge about mental health medications is outstanding! When one medicine wasn't working she safely switched me to something else that worked much better for me. I started seeing Dr. Grace in 2022 for therapy and I love her. She is just amazing and my mental health has improved so much over the past 4 years! I saw a different therapist at Neuropsych before Grace, who I just didn't feel like I connected with. Dr. Simrit actually helped me get an appointment with Dr. Grace and I'm forever greatful. Neuropsych understands that you might need to try different doctors to find someone who fits your needs and that you connect with. So don't be afraid to ask for someone new. Another great thing about Neuropsych is their patient portal. It makes it easy to communicate with your doctors and even request medication refills. Neuropsych front desk staff is also always friendly and helpful. Plus, virtual appointments so I don't have to drive to the office. My husband sees different doctors at Neuropsych and has never had any complaints. I highly recommend Neuropsych Wellness Center.

I have one of the greatest therapist. Diane Osborne has helped me in so many ways. In particular how to put things, situations and experiences in perspective. She's also helping me discover, or get in touch where my anger comes from. Her experience, travel and sensitivity, and broad thinking has helped me immensely.

The doctor treating my daughter has been amazing. She has been able to talk to my daughter in such a way that she feels comfortable talking about what is going on and how she is doing. Also, she is very through on every medication even brought up. We have been able to make a full plan including contingencies which has been amazing so I can set expectations with my daughter around that. There is also a full team of office support so we can call at anytime to get questions answers or at least pointed in the correct direction. She also is very experienced with diagnosis and medications so she knows the ins and outs of even the new medication recommendations and what the new guidelines are for treatment. So I can trust that she is not just trying it “her way” but the way according to science backed research and experience.

I'd like to preface this review by saying that I've had an incredibly positive experience with the Spravato team of this practice for years. I began getting medication management through their general psychiatry in early October and it made me wish that we were still doing lobotomies, because it would have only improved my experience. The psychiatrist Suvi Hyytiainen made me feel worthless. I arrived at her door with my depression fully under control and left with the understanding that there are psychiatrists prejudiced against the mentally ill. I have worked with less competent psychiatrists, but have never met one as disrespectful. My ideas were wrong because they were mine. No need to check. If I checked it meant I was trying to practice medicine, drug seeking, or both. I toughed it out for weeks thinking that if I was patient enough she would come to see that I didn't have any agenda. What finally shattered me was when Suvi told my therapist in their private consultation that she had never read my messages in the patient portal. I knew she wasn't responding to them, but the sheer arrogance of having another human presume I contain nothing of value was beyond what I had envisioned for someone in her field. An important note here is that I have autism and ADHD. One of the accommodations I get through my university allows me to use written communication for any graded assignment, as talking is hard for me when I'm feeling overwhelmed. I stutter, lose track of my thoughts, and forget words. Suvi, despite never sharing with me that written messages won't work for her, told my therapist it was because she didn't have time to read. I tried to meet her halfway and asked in my next appointment if we could use the first few minutes for her to read my most recent message. She refused on the grounds of it not being a good use of time. I shared that I chose to stop taking Adderall in June because it began making me irritable. Suvi claimed that she couldn't increase my Ritalin because all stimulants will cause me irritability (despite the 19 years with no problems). No need to check, though. I hope she patents her process for predicting patient response to psychiatric medications, because her gift to predict quality of life outcomes despite adamantly refusing to engage with her patients will revolutionize the world of medicine. I have never written a public negative review, ever. I decided that I would rather lose access to my medications than continue working with Suvi and walked away. However, she shared her lopsided narrative of who I am with other psychiatrists at the practice, thus impacting my ability to get unbiased care. Her clinical notes might as well be a fanfiction of her Olympic efforts to jump to conclusions. I resent that she feels entitled to style herself as judge, jury, and witness despite ignoring my communication for the better part of two months. Suvi Hyytiainen would be a wonderful psychiatrist for someone in a coma given her unfailing certainty to make decisions without patient input. Otherwise, I advise sidestepping that minefield. I've included a graphic outlining my experience trying to get Suvi to stop talking over me during appointments.
