We began occupational therapy services at SLEA in 2023 and added speech services in 2024. Gurwin has been one of the most patient and dedicated speech pathologists we’ve worked with. She takes the time to individualize each session to our child’s needs and is an incredibly knowledgeable and supportive resource for parents. Our son truly enjoys his sessions with her, and we’ve seen meaningful progress, especially with his AAC device. Edward is also an exceptional occupational therapist. He has a natural gift for working with children on the spectrum and those with unique needs. He thoughtfully adapts each session based on our son’s mood and readiness, and has helped him develop many important life skills, including toileting. We highly recommend SLEA for both speech and occupational therapy services.

Coming here has helped my daughter immensely with her speech and OT. The therapists her are extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help. Vana is my daughter's speech therapist, she is knowledgeable and patient. She is amazing at giving me advice and helpful tips that I can do at home to improve my daughter's speech. Nicole is my daughter Occupational Therapist, working with her has improved my daughter's way of life to the point she is able to put on clothes herself. My child has been receiving services through a facility a therapies for nearly 5 year. We have been with our current speech therapist, Miss Vana for nearly 3 years and absolutely love and recommend her and SLEA Therapies for your child’s needs. We have used services for educational therapy for reading comprehension with Miss Lori and also highly recommend her. SLEA Therapies has many services which makes it convenient. If you need several therapy is such as speech, OT, educational therapy, social skills, and more which my son has benefited from. All of the therapies he’s received has been beneficial and the staff have been nothing but kind, patient, and professional.
