Optimal Pediatric Therapy

My son was needing extra assistance with his speech delay and we were recommended Optimal. In under a year, Kari got my son talking and thriving and we couldn't be more appreciative! Highly recommend!

My children have seen 3 of the therapist at Optimal, and we have only excellent interactions with all of the staff and therapists. The therapist go above and beyond to learn about my children's unique diagnoses to provide the very best services that they can provide. They are supportive and kind. They provide the need encouragement to help not just the child more toward a healthier more productive life but the family to help support that child through the process. I would recommend this facility to any one looking for therapy services for their child or children. They listen and show a desire to truly help.

My preteen son needed a speech evaluation in order for us to determine next steps for therapy. We met with Rachel, and I was so impressed with the time, attention, and care she showed my son. The evaluation was thorough, including looking for lip/tongue ties. I received a digital copy of his evaluation afterward. The practice was full of energetic and clearly happy therapists. This practice is an asset to our community!

Strong roots has been great for my son. He receives three services, and all of his therapists are wonderful with him. Staff is knowledgeable, accommodating, and sensitive to his needs. Highly recommend!

My son regularly sees Miss Jenny twice a week and he LOVES it! He loves going to speech for many reasons. The waiting room always has toys, usually sensory friendly, that change every week or two thanks to Miss Eileen! Miss Eileen works at the front desk and remembers every child’s name even after their first visit. She rotates the toys and chooses the colorful, fun, and learning toys that every child loves. She is always kind and happy and even remembers the children’s siblings who wait in the waiting room while their sibling is in speech. Miss Jenny is SO kind and patient. Even during 30 minute group sessions, my son comes out learning new words, sounds, and techniques while also having so much fun! They do art projects and read and play. My son loves speech and never wants to leave! I have also witnessed the other therapists and Miss Eileen handle the children with higher needs and behavioral problems with the utmost kindness, respect,

Ms. Rachel & The Strong Roots Therapy team were a huge asset to the success of my little one’s speech progression in such a short amount of time during his time in Pre-K. Rachel is THEE best therapist you can have for your child. When I was told I would have to take my 3/4 yr old daughter to speech therapy 3 times a week I was less than thrilled. I wanted it to be at home. But after a few sessions of group therapy with other kids her age and speech level, I was happy to bring her every week seeing the progress she has made. She has grown so much this year not just in speech but actually engaging with other kids her age. Strong roots is always accommodating of schedules and very warm and welcoming. Rachel’s love of children is very apparent in the way she talks to and about the kids she sees.
