Management in this center is focus on everything else other than the kids. Unfortunately the kids in the spectrum what they need the most is love and a lot of dedication. However, that is very hard to achieve when they are concern about many nonsense stuff that really does nothing for the kids just themselves. They really need to be more proactive in parent trainings and really be out there to help the kids and their families.

I’m very disappointed with this company. It has become clear that the only thing they care about is billing hours, and adding unnecessary rules that make things harder for both the therapists and the families. The therapists are often overworked and under-supported. ABA therapy should be about helping children grow and thrive, not about how many hours can be billed to insurance. Sadly, that’s not the priority here.

Both of my children receive ABA services through My Kid Therapy. They were diagnosed with autism at the age of two. As mentioned in a previous post, I am pleased to report that both of my children are thriving. I have noticed a significant difference in my five-year-old child. Six months ago, he was completely nonverbal. Now, he can say a few words, point, and push me to take him to places he previously avoided. This demonstrates the effectiveness of ABA, which is an early key to success in your children’s future, particularly for those with autism.

I absolutely loved this center in the beginning and then I started to see red flags and then my son started coming home injured (bite mark bruises to the arm, rug burn scratches twice on his shoulder blades and then finally scratches across his throat from a negligent therapist) and I was not being notified the first 3 times. After meeting with someone I found out by the power of social media that the negligent RBT was still employed there after I was assured he would be fired. I wouldn't trust a fly in that center. The office manager is dismissive and rude, the BCBAs speak to parents with condescension. It is sad that special needs children depend on their care providers to protect them when we as parents are not around and instead this place was too busy charging my insurance while not ensuring my sons safety. Miami is a cesspool for aba centers basically being overpriced daycares.
