I want to start off by saying that I am so thankful for how much Palmetto Summerville has helped me heal and grow. There were many factors that made a difference from Palmetto Summerville to other hospitals I’ve been to. One major thing was the staff, from the moment I walked onto the unit the fir

I can't say enough good things about the team serving the adolescents. My child came out a new person with a hope and self-esteem I hadn't seen in years. Thank you so much. You were literally life savers for us.

I walked in here a broken person with no hope. I was at my lowest and was trying anything I could to get help so I joined partial day IOP. This facility and my care team - Therapists Leah and Taylor, and Dr. Lopez not only gave me the ability to start hoping again, they truly saved my life. I was there for six weeks, the group therapy sessions helped more than I thought they would. I now have tools to help me get through and a spark of hope that gets a little bigger each week. I am so thankful I took a chance and came here.

Honestly when I first came here it was scary and new, and I didn’t know how I would be treated here. But I got welcomed and some few people came to talk to me and after a few days I was pretty fine! Had some ups and downs sometimes, but the staffs, social worker, or just anyone who worked there were really sweet, supportive, and helpful. I really enjoyed staying there and having a routine everyday because at least I had a purpose to do something everyday!! I made friends there, but of course we couldn’t share contact with anyone. I hope they’re doing well, and I hope the staffs are doing great! I honestly felt so much better after staying here. I stayed in unit 5 and the staffs plus the night techs were absolutely amazing and fun to be around with, but some things I didn’t really like was having to sleep in the cold even with a blanket, only getting 10 minutes on a phone call (but understandable since there were other people), having to wake up early for blood pressure, the supplies for hygiene weren’t the best, but overall it was a great experience for me. ૮꒰˶ฅ́˘ฅ̀˶꒱ა
