I’ve just started my treatments, but so far very impressed. takes time to listen, and my body felt better after first session. Ive just completed the 12 session series and can happily report that my body feels so much better and the issues I wanted to address ~ better balance and less fear of falling ~ were completely resolved. Irvin is a wonderfully kind, sensitive and very skilled therapist.

Dr. Irvin is great! He has a gentle yet sensible approach to scar work and really helped me value my scar and make it more flexible and pliable. The painful pulling around my scar that I had when I started with him is gone. He is also a good conversationalist, making for pleasant and interesting sessions.

I highly recommend Resilience Occupational Therapy. The relief that I have felt in just two session is immense. I have been dealing with chronic debilitating pain and the care that I receive is unique to the needs of my body and the detail and depth of the care is unparalleled to any care I have received for this pain before. So grateful !

I started working with Irvin on scar care about 6 weeks after bilateral incision top surgery. When I first went in, my top surgery scars (which go from sternum around my sides to just under the outsides of my scapulae) were newly healed firm nodules: ropy, stiff, limited the movement of the rest of my torso. Irvin told me about his background and his approach, then spent about 30 or 40 minutes gently but purposefully palpating and subtly massaging along the lines of my scars.

Irvin really helped me with pain and decreased ranging motion after an injury. After working with Irvin I have increased range of motion and decreased pain. Irvin is exceptionally good at what he does. He is an excellent communicator, and very knowledgeable. I always felt welcome and comfortable in his office.

We feel so fortunate to be part of the DTA family! Our child looks forward to sessions with Megan every week, and is making huge progress in emotional regulation, interoception, and fine motor control. Megan's proactive and thoughtful care goes way above and beyond our expectations. Melissa (front desk) is also super helpful - extremely efficient, supportive and communicative.

DTA has made a huge, positive difference in our child's, and thus our family's, life. They have a wealth of tools and resources and create a warm and friendly atmosphere for the kids and families. Our child looks forward to every appointment with her amazing OT Megan, and we so appreciate Megan and the rest of the awesome staff at DTA!

Both of my daughters had great experiences at DTA! My younger one graduated this past summer for eating issues, and she has expanded her repertoire of foods she will eat so dramatically! Some of her recent additions include ginger chicken, paw paw cake, and couscous! She loved going to OT and still misses Ms. Megan. The whole experience was very gentle and positive, and highly successful.
