My son just started receiving service at the end of November. Our speech therapist has cancelled a number of sessions. I think my son only had 4 sessions since we started. Although we were offered zoom sessions, my son will not be able to sit still for a session. The one time I was able to make up a session, it was the 31st of December and i honestly forgot. I had sent an email in the middle of January requesting feedback about possibly finding us someone with more availability. Towards end of January, still no callback etc. I reached out to someone , they were able to communicate with me and I was already on thoughts of seeking services somewhere else. I received another call from a supervisor, I did not appreciate that they implied I was the one not taking the steps to make up for those sessions. My little one has a busy schedule already. And off the bat when we started I did not like that I was not able to stay close by their sessions, yes I know some children don’t do so well but I just wanted to see how my son was doing. I also never received any feedback from the therapist on how my son was doing. I have him enrolled in school with an IEP and ABA therapy. I have a great teams from both school and ABA to work with, that we tried to include our speech therapy to work together but it apparently this was not a good match.

There are some nice people, but it’s so absurdly disorganized that nothing works correctly and gets done. Disappointing they waste money hiring incompetent people.

One of the greatest programs for not only those with special needs but also for those without! The program here with core has changed the lives of many! The smiles have never changed! The spirits remained uplifting! If you are overwhelmed with the journey of youth, if you have the heart of God and want to give back in anyway join this program everyone needs someone

This is a non-profit that supports, advocates for, and educates diverse populations with disabilities. They do many things from community events that have free food, clothes, resources, eye exams, and fun things for kids like face painting. Additionally they train people in skills to support this community and pay for the training!! Yes, the organizational skills are sometimes lacking but considering it is a non-profit and the amount of things these heroes are juggling, they do a pretty good job.
