Worst counselor I've ever had. I saw her for years as a teenager, while I lived with my violently abusive parents. She never recognized my symptoms of PTSD from severe child abuse. She saw me once after my mom had beat me up (I had two black eyes, bruises all over my body, etc. it was her second murder attempt) & even though my mother admitted that she had beaten me, Sarah Russell took pity on my abuser & decided it must have been the first time my mom had ever hurt me. She decided it would be best to give my mom a warning not to do it again, instead of calling child protective services on my mother. This violates the code of ethics all mental health professionals are required by law to follow, and it led to 2 more years of violent child abuse for me. If I had known the laws as a 16yo, I would have called the police on her and they would have been required to revoke her license. I never could trust her. She never even asked me if this was the first time I’d been abused like that. Don't see her, she's terrible.

Sarah Russell has been a terrific resource for my wife and I while raising our two sons. Sarah's level headed responses are always very helpful to keep us on the right path and helps us understand our sons' mindsets much better.
