As a parent, it is already a nerve-racking experience when you suspect your child to have a disability. Then, to make matters worse you are left to discover the grueling process it will be to seek a diagnosis with unfathomable waitlists. I met Anna as a desperate mom seeking guidance from a local support group and it was truly a gift! Anna educated me on all my options and her prices (which were 70% cheaper than what we had been quoted for a private evaluation from a previous company). We were able to get in the same week & the process was seamless. You can truly tell Anna has a passion for what she does and wholeheartedly cares for your child. I cannot express how thankful I am to have found Shine Behavior Services. Anna has been so supportive from the beginning of the process, including explaining the steps from the referral process to attaining the diagnosis and seeking services that are needed for my child. Prior to the assessment, Anna got to know my daughter’s developmental history and she listened to my concerns that drove me to seek an assessment and possible diagnosis. She exudes compassion and I could tell she genuinely cares for my child’s wellbeing as well as my own. She was supportive through every step. The assessment process was simple and she was engaging and playful with my child which made us both feel so welcome and comfortable. My doctor received the report in two days and my daughter was referred to the necessary therapies the next day. I am so thankful and would recommend Shine Behavior Services to all parents who want to get their children the help they need!!!!!!
