I found out that my little brother hates baths and diaper changes and he used to not. Then I found a whole bunch of bruises and scars and he don't know how to talk so we can't just ask him.

If I could give it a zero I would. Scheduled an appointment for my son on Oct 8, 2025 at 9:30am. We get there and they have no knowledge of our appointment. I live an hour away from this place so coming back a 2nd time wasn't an option. Once we got that mess figured out, the entire appointment was on a tablet over Zoom. As I'm talking with this woman, a different woman comes in and takes my son out of the room, says nothing, doesn't say where she's taking him, just walks out with him. My fiance followed just to make sure he was ok. After about an hour we were done and I haven't heard thing since. I've called multiple times and left voicemails regarding the diagnosis of my son and got nothing. My sons Doctor even reached out and got nothing. Why is this place even open??

My doctor put in a referral for my son to be evaluated and when they reached out they were very short and rude with me. They asked me if I would be putting my son into the therapy with their company and after I said I wouldn’t be opposed but wouldn’t be signing up for it that day she hung up on me. Afterwards I attempted to get back in contact and they ignored my calls.

After our son received his ASD diagnosis and referral for ABA therapy we contacted Skylight Autism Center because it is the closest ABA provider. I spoke with Alexis at length about my son and his challenging behaviors. I was very honest and straight forward from our first conversation. Alexis was made known of all my son's diagnoses including Oppositional Defiance Disorder. Alexis was very positive and confirmed Skylight could meet his needs, all we needed was an intake appointment and approval from insurance. It was never indicated my son may not be a good fit. We scheduled an intake appointment for two weeks out. The morning of the appointment, Alexis called stating a supervisor was sick and we will need to reschedule. She said she would call back that morning to reschedule. She never called back. A week later I called Alexis and we were able to reschedule a for week later. The intake appointment seemed to go great. Alexis didn't learn anything new about my son's oppositional disposition. We completed the intake and took a tour of the facility. Everything was shared with us as an absolute. "This is where he will have a desk". "This is where he will eat lunch." Again, it was never expressed he may not be a good fit. Alexis got all of our insurance info and said it would take about 3 weeks to get the approval from insurance and that he could start immediately after the insurance approval. She even developed a schedule with us. My son was so excited to go back. Each morning he would ask when he gets to go back. An entire week later Alexis called to notify me that my son would not be a good fit for her facility due to his defiance. She compared treating my son to treating adults stating " it's the same reason we don't treat adults. We can't make them do anything". Of course, I don't want my child at a clinic that isn't capable of helping him. What is upsetting about this interaction is how 5 weeks of our time was wasted that could have been spent on a wait list for a different clinic. There is no reason this information couldn't have been shared in our first conversation or at the intake.
