I love ABLE, my non verbal son has been with them for 5 years now!! They even did an awesome job at potty training , he is 11 now and has been potty trained for close to 3 years . Which is very difficult for a nonverbal at that upper age . They work with us whether at home or school.

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the care my two-year-old son received at ABLE’s new North Side location. On July 15, 2025, I dropped my son off at 12:00 p.m. and picked him up at 5:00 p.m. As I do every day, I packed his lunch and snacks. However, upon returning home and checking his lunchbox, I discovered that none of his food or snacks had been touched. This is extremely troubling, as my son has specific dietary needs and only eats certain foods due to ongoing feeding therapy he has received since he was one year old. Additionally, he has a speech delay and is currently in speech therapy, meaning he does not always communicate when he is hungry. To know that he went an entire afternoon without being offered the food I provided is unacceptable. When I addressed this issue with Mrs. Kristianna, I was told that it would be added to his program so that his therapist could be reminded to feed him. This response is deeply concerning. Feeding a child is a fundamental responsibility, and I cannot comprehend how the staff—especially those working with children with disabilities—would need reminders to ensure a child is fed. This incident has caused me to lose trust in this location’s ability to care for my son. As a result, my child no longer attends and will not be returning. I feel this matter highlights serious concerns about oversight, communication, and basic care at this facility.

Location and parking is insane... But the therapists and directors are the most AMAZING PEOPLE. My son has progressed so much since starting here in 2022. Makenzie makes me so comfortable leaving my child there and we always get updates after each session. Thank you ABLE!!!!!
