I shattered my right forearm, in 21 places, in 2000. I have two plates, 14 screws and an elbow implant. My doctor told me I would have to go on disability and would never have any significant use of my arm again. I told him "disability is not an option. I will work for a living." He laughed and put a steak dinner bet on when I would file. I cashed in on that bet and enjoyed the steak! Fortunately, the great staff at Teays Physical Therapy worked with me to prove my doctor wrong. It was a tough, but loving regiment, that I worked diligently. Seventeen years later, I am still using my arm, and can do most everyday tasks! My ability to throw a ball is greatly impaired, but I am grateful that I wasn't a professional athlete and don't need that skill to make my way through life. Cindy Skiles is a visionary professional who hires great people that attain great results. I have returned to Teays for therapy after a minor car accident. Another great experience. I recommend Teays Physical Therapy to anyone that is serious about recovering from injury!

I have been treated at other physical therapy centers but none compare to the professsional treatment and care that I received at TPTC. Cindy and her staff treat you like family. With their excellent care, I regained my mobility and am now in their fitness program I look forward to each time I go to workout. It is just a great place to be. They are always ready to assist you.

TCT has changed my son’s life!! Everyone who works there has been so helpful with him and they treat him so well. The relationships he’s building here are unmatched between his ST Caroline and Sam, OT Julia, and even the office ladies Cheyenne & Morgan! Whenever we walk in for his appointment Cheyenne makes SURE to greet my son! She establishes such a welcoming environment and when my son was struggling with transitions she provided so much comfort. Cheyenne has also been so helpful with communication and relaying information between my son’s therapists and myself. She’s also helped with sorting out billing issues with my insurance. Caroline, Sam, and Julia are absolutely amazing therapists! My son adores them and they’ve helped tremendously with his development. I highly recommend TCT for anyone and their child!!

I’ve had 4 kids go through TCT! We’ve seen a number of therapists over the years and have loved each one! Ms. Jenny (OT), Ms. Leslie (ST), and Ms. Ella (ST) are our most recent and we love them all. They are great! Ms. Jenny has helped my now 7 y/o gain so much confidence and security as he had a lot of sensory issues when he was younger with lights and sounds. He’s grown so much with her help!! Highly recommend her if your kiddo needs OT and would recommend all of the therapists we’ve had as well!

My children have been with this location for quite awhile and have seen numerous therapists but Caroline (speech therapist) has worked wonders for my nonverbal autistic son! They have built a strong friendship and he openly enjoys his time with her. Caroline shows tons of patience and kindness with him and goes above and beyond when working with him! She also sees his younger sister who was not nonverbal but has lots of difficulties producing speech to communicate, now after having therapy with Caroline she can talk in broken sentences and fully communicate and share her needs! I’m so impressed and happy with our care at Tri-County and glad we have the therapy team we do!

My 5 year old has been working with Kathryn, and the improvements we have seen is absolutely incredible. Everyone around us (daycare workers, friends, family) have all noticed the significant improvements in behavior and communication. She has worked so well with him and given us tools to use at home as well. We are so grateful for her hard work and my son absolutely loves seeing her and working with her every week. We can't thank her enough!
