As someone who worked for this company for nearly a year, I HIGHLY recommend choosing a different company when searching for care for your disabled loved ones. From my personal experience on the Residental team, the Supervisors do not care about your family. They care about less paperwork and more money. There are few are far between Direct Support Professionals that actually care about the clients, many are negligent and rude, and dehumanizing. I can list 4 people I worked with on my team that genuinely had the clients best interests at heart. I reported a coworker for negligence and received threats, and harassment from this coworker that only led to ME being written up by the temporary supervisor that my team was assigned to. This supervisor was biased against me and for the coworker that was harassing me. I was suffering from extreme panic attacks after this harassment. This same coworker had been written up on 6 different occasions, quit the job, and came back 2 days later and was completely fine within the company. I attempted to make an appeal to come back, as I cared deeply for my clients and working with folks with disabilities, and was DENIED the appeal. This company is corrupt and does not have the clients best interest at heart. I have many more things I could share but I feel as though I have shared what was needed. Think carefully before allowing your loved ones to be apart of the Arc of the Ozarks...

Fabulous Organization doing important work. I know them personally and they are a legitimate charity. The reviewer who questioned their integrity was clearly confusing them with another organization.

Something is wrong when you cannot contact an organization by phone. There is no way to contact anyone at the Arc by any of their phone numbers. Donate your money to United Way or any legitimate charity not this shady group
