Therapy For Healthy Living

I have been to several counselors over the years and Foundations by far has the best staff and has helped me regain control of my life. They are professional, but not stuffy, very knowledgeable and caring. I appreciate the help I have received. Would totally recommend them.

They were able to get me an appointment within a week. That was the only good part about my experience. The address on google is wrong, but the man at the front desk didn't convey that when I made the appointment. I chose this business for location, and when I called saying I must have missed my turn, he told me its actually 25 minutes away from where I currently was. I ended up driving an extra thirty minutes to get there, and he gave me the address of the casino across the street which got me lost again. There is no proper signage, just what looks like a poster board on the ground by the front door of a small doublewide looking building. Inside there was overpoweringly loud ocean noises, that I had to put earplugs in to withstand. After waiting to fill out my paperwork the same guy I had been on the phone with twice in the past hour tells me that he double booked my appointment and could I come back. After driving an hour and having such difficulties I chose to leave, so I have no idea the skill of the therapists, but based on how they handle their office it can't be good.

Very unprofessional. My fiancee had an appointment at 1 (she was sent an email that said ignore the 4pm appointment it will be at 1) and when calling to confirm the front desk lady told my fiancee that she has her scheduled for 4 and then basically said it was my fiancee's fault that it was the wrong time. Then the therapist Grace came out and asked if she could reschedule to Monday, my fiancee told her that she was busy and then Grace told her "I guess you will have figure out a day that will work then". Do not recommend this place at all, very unprofessional and try to put all the blame on you.

When i called to make an appointment, I explained the last therapist i had was great, but my insurance wouldn't cover the services. I ask several times if they were sure my insurance was covered at their facility, as i didn't want a repeat of the last experience. They assured me it was and set me up with a therapist. After a few visits i realized we were not good for each other and stopped going and cancelled all my appointments. That was August of 2022. They called March 7, 2023 saying my insurance didn't cover the visits. The therapist was the worst I've ever had and the office staff are obviously not efficient. Would not recommend.
