First-time visit for an evaluation of my 4-year-old grandson with delayed learning. The practitioner was very thorough from an observation perspective, which is how the majority of the evaluation goes. Very observant and conversational, sweet with my grandson, and answered all of my questions. Prescribed several other tests to rule out any/or address underlying causes. Also recommended occupational and speech therapy, and 40 hours of ABA with referrals. I was not surprised by the evaluation results, as his delayed learning is very apparent. I'm open to all recommendations and treatments and will research the referrals to see what his insurance will cover and what we can afford. THINK Neurology for Kids – The Woodlands We had a wonderful experience at THINK Neurology for Kids in The Woodlands, especially with Dr. Mandava. From the very beginning, Dr. Mandava was kind, patient, and extremely attentive. He took the time to truly listen to our concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure we felt supported and understood throughout the visit. His approach with children is compassionate and thoughtful, and he creates an environment where both parents and kids feel at ease. We never felt rushed, and all of our questions were answered with care and professionalism. The office staff was also welcoming and helpful, making the overall experience smooth and positive. We are very grateful for the care and guidance we received and highly recommend Dr. Mandava and THINK Neurology for Kids to any family seeking knowledgeable and compassionate pediatric neurological care.

I had an absolute wonderful experience here. For starters, the receptionist was so incredibly polite and receptive to our needs. (I had last minute paperwork to have scanned and emailed to add to the patient file) and she had the most friendly and pleasant response to being helpful. Then Dr. King. JUST WOW! I've not had the greatest experience with getting guidance, being put at ease, and not made feel like my Momma instincts were in fact ON POINT! Dr. King made it feel like my daughter would be heard thoroughly, she would take my input, give her a chance to answer for herself, and put at ease the entire time. She made sure that my daughter was reminded that terms and 'labels' didnt define her. THAT was the extra mile for me. Not everyone takes the time to explain things to the child in the room that is clearly the topic of conversation. To tell me is one thing, but to ensure we paused and made sure she was comfortable along the way made this an wonderful experience!
