Touched By an Angel Speech Therapy

This is probably the best facility in Charlotte to address various sensory needs including occupational, speech, chewing, and other issues. They use a multi-integrated approach across all the therapies ensuring progress is streamlined between all of the different therapists working with the child. They were instrumental in providing services for our foster children who had severe developmental delays. They made significant clinical progress within 6 months. Highly recommend them

I’m a little torn on how to write this review although I have no complaints about how the therapist (Keely) did with my kids, I do have concerns on how their treatment was handled. My kids were doing so well and were thriving so the therapist said they were getting ready to be discharged. We then had a sit in session with her boss, and at the next session, we got a whole bunch of information that we were not expecting. She was borderline saying my kids were very delayed and would likely need more/ different treatment, which was very confusing seeing as they were about to be discharged. My only thought was that the boss decided in that one session to give her opinion and change the course for my children. I can’t say for sure if this was just a tactic to keep us there or what but I will say it has been two years since my kids have gone there and no one else has raised any concerns. We even got another speech evaluation at another facility to rule out any delay. The therapist was younger and seemed less experienced, but again- did so well with us. I hope this isn’t happening to other families & that they aren’t giving unnecessary diagnoses or treatments to kids. I am all about early intervention and giving kids the necessary treatment but do not condone confusing parents and having them worry without being certain. I would def just be very cautious of this.

We absolutely LOVE Mrs. Rebecca! My son has been in speech therapy for years with very little progress and once we got a few weeks in with Mrs. Rebecca, he has made more progress with her in weeks vs the years of therapy with other therapists! She knows what she’s doing and is super sweet! I cannot believe the progress my son has made in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend this place!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely love ACT Speech and OT Therapy! We first started coming here for our two older children (ages 5 and 7 at the time) for both speech and occupational therapy, and every therapist we worked with was truly AMAZING. Thanks to their support and dedication, both of our kids graduated from OT and entered school so much more confident and prepared. Now, we’re back with our 3-year-old for OT, and even after taking a year off, the experience has been just as wonderful as before. The entire team is so warm, friendly, and incredibly patient with children—they make every visit something our kids actually look forward to! I can’t say enough good things about ACT. The level of care, professionalism, and genuine love they have for their work shines through in everything they do. I also want to mention Rebecca, the owner and one of the therapists—she has such a kind heart and treats every family like her own. Jasmine is my daughter’s OT therapist and she is the best person for my daughter. She truly makes it enjoyable for her! My daughter asks to come play every single day and can’t wait for her sessions! I recommend ACT Speech and OT Therapy to anyone looking for high-quality, compassionate care for their little ones. You truly can’t go wrong with this amazing team! 💛

We’ve had a good experience with ACT Therapy- twice! Two of my kids were treated at different times for different needs. I appreciated the large amount of knowledge, desire to stay up to date on research, deep bench of recommendations for additional resources to help us reach our goals. Our kids unique needs were supported in ways that helped them make real, lasting progress. Highly recommend!
