I would not recommend this facility the autism evaluator was not at all patient with my nephew nor was she willing to allow him his an opportunity to feel safe and comfortable. I suggest going to the Goodwill for any evaluations concerning your children.

**They straight up do not care about patients at this location** **Unacceptable Response Times and Poor Communication** I cannot recommend Adventist Health Clear Lake behavioral health services based on my recent experience in January 2026. **Timeline of events:** - Called Wednesday to request a medication refill and dose adjustment - Followed up Friday - told my request was "escalated" - Called again Monday morning - doctor still had not reviewed my request - Only after escalating to management did I receive any response - nearly a week later - Was prescribed medication that would run out 8 days before my scheduled appointment **Key issues:** - The prescribing doctor only works 2 days per week, which was never disclosed and creates significant access problems - No clear process for urgent medication needs - Multiple promises to "escalate" with no actual follow-through - Nearly impossible to get timely responses for basic medication management - Staff provided inaccurate timelines about when the doctor would review messages and when patients would receive help **Result:** I had to seek emergency telehealth psychiatric care to avoid running out of medication that was helping manage my symptoms. The telehealth provider responded same-day, adjusted my medication appropriately, and provided adequate supply - everything Adventist failed to do in almost a week. Be aware that response times can exceed a week, staff make promises about callbacks and timelines that are not kept, the provider has very limited availability, and you should have a backup plan for medication management. I ultimately switched to telehealth and wish I had done so from the start. This is not acceptable patient care for mental health services, where timely access to medication can be critical. Shame on you Adventist!! **UPDATE (1/28/26):** Adventist Health responded to this review within 24 hours, asking me to email them privately to "discuss my experience." Let that sink in: They couldn't respond to my urgent medication needs in under a week, but they can respond to a negative Google review in under 24 hours. This perfectly demonstrates what I said in my original review - their priorities are managing their online reputation, not providing timely patient care. They make you feel bad for asking for basic care. I have since switched to telehealth and received same-day help. I won't be returning to Adventist Health behavioral health services.

My phone appointment with Dr. Bruce Anderson went smoothly, as usual. I am a long-time patient of Dr Anderson, and appreciate his wisdom and thoughtfulness. Nancy S. Brennan

After 31 years of severe chronic insomnia having 10 sessions with Dr. Emily Gardner psychologist and Cognative Behavioral Therapist specializing in Sleep has made a significant difference. I could barely leave my home in the last 13 years. Now thanks to both the course and her insights i have traveled 1,200 miles to Taos, New Mexico to participate in an art show. Something I never thought i would be able to do. So very grateful! My hopeless predicament took years to get better but FINALLY it did.
