We began our journey 6 months ago with Ascent and I am so glad we did. Our son was diagnosed with ASD Level 2 when he was 2.5 years old. When he was younger, there were things we questioned, but they were explained away and that’s what we wanted to hear. As he got older, he started self inflicting behavior and there were more obvious signs. After being on a waitlist at another facility for almost a year, they recommended we try Ascent. I wish we had known about them sooner! We have seen such improvement of his behavior, including tolerance for disruption of his routines and increased verbalization. He loves going and we are so grateful for them!! Shelley the owner has such a calming and warm presence; you can tell all the staff really care about the kids and give great summaries of the day (one day I was surprised while we were waiting because every staff member that passed knew my child’s name. Even ones that I hadn’t met from working with him). I would recommend them to anyone and everyone in search of ABA, truly, I can’t say enough good things about them. Thank you so much!!
