The owner of this ABA therapy clinic, Miss Amy, is truly wonderful—always helpful, approachable, and willing to answer all of my questions. BCBA Michelle and the team of therapists have been amazing with my son. He began therapy here at age 3, and the progress has been incredible. With their guidance, dedication, and support, my son has made so many gains that by the time he entered the school district, he no longer met the criteria for an autism diagnosis.

We moved to the Katy ISD area two and a half years ago on the recommendation of our daughter's doctor, as she has been diagnosed with autism, learning disabilities, and ADHD. Our daughter, who started first grade at a public school here (school rating 10), received half a year of education. However, our daughter did not show any progress and even started going to school unhappily. Following this, we researched ABA therapy centers in the Katy area. We learned that the founder and owner of Rise with ABA is both an educator and a mother of a child with autism (Mrs. Amy Lee). We started with Rise with ABA two years ago, believing that this institution would be more beneficial because we thought they would understand us and our child better and be more empathetic. Throughout this process, Rise with ABA scheduled weekly family meetings and guided us with expert support. This allowed us to manage our daughter's behavioral problems at home more easily and be more helpful to her. Our daughter, who goes to the center happily and peacefully every day, has shown significant improvement, which both we and her doctors have observed. We are continuing with the last six-month program, which has specific goals tailored to our daughter. Throughout the two-year period, we never doubted that we were in the right place. We never encountered a money-oriented approach. We are very grateful to Mrs. Amy Lee for prioritizing our child's development and for the contributions she made to our daughter. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Patricia L. Kato, who guided us through this process, arranged a suitable educational program for our daughter, and supported us in managing the process correctly. We highly recommend Rise with ABA to anyone looking for an ABA therapy center for their autistic child.

My wife and I were lost as we navigated our son's diagnosis and behavior. We hoped to find solutions. As we switched daycares, tried different preschools, and started kindergarten, it was clear they didn't have the answers, experience or understanding needed to help our son reach his potential. That all changed when we found Rise With ABA. It was such a blessing and so refreshing to have a team with experience and professional knowledge listening to our stories and not judging, but rather understanding. For the first time we were being heard and most importantly they had answers. Our perspective changed and we realized that we were in the right place. Our son is developing and improving as they continue to work with him. If you are like my wife and I were, feeling like there are no answers or understanding, give Rise With ABA a try. Give them the opportunity to help your child like they have helped ours!

The Westheimer location has been fantastic for school readiness & increasing my son’s social skills with peers (an area where he struggles). I have reviewed the Bella location separately as the focus areas of the two locations are different & I can be more detailed with my review. My son attended Bella from 2-4ish, and transitioned to Westheimer so he could interact with peers his age. I was able to tour Westheimer before the change from Bella, and at first felt a little overwhelmed because it was definitely louder, in the space that allows for all the patients to work together. I was concerned my son would be on overstimulated leading to behaviours, but that was not his experience AT ALL. My son formed friendships here almost immediately, and still references those patients months later after he/they were discharged. While here, Rise was fundamental in helping me advocate for my son during ARD meetings. I did end up doing a school transfer, but my son’s BCBA was always available for the MULTIPLE ARDs that his previous school district were scheduling. I had disagreed with the school district’s plans for my son’s kindergarten year, and having input from both Amy and my son’s BCBAs helped me not feel like I was being ridiculous in my beliefs. Rise had gotten to know my son so well over the years that I really trusted their input over practically anybody else’s. Ultimately, this led me to changed school districts, and the new school district’s plan aligned much more closely with what Rise and I thought would be most appropriate for my son. One thing I have noticed as my son has gotten older is that his needs as a toddler were quite different than his needs once he became verbal. Amy recognized this as well, and we changed his BCBA’s a few times since different ones had more experience with school readiness. All of the BCBA’s set goals that were appropriate for him and they were all communicative with me in addressing concerns that would pop up. His time at Westheimer has been much shorter than Bella, but still extremely impactful. He loves going to Westheimer, and it’s so funny when I see him using his skills he’s learned at Rise and generalizing them to his home life. He goes through periods where he has to announce that he’s a big boy and wants to do things himself (these are all skills that his team works on with him that he previously would only want me to do for him). They are not only helping him with behaviors, but also fostering a sense of independence and confidence in him. I did have a hiccup during elementary, but Rise was fantastic in helping us come up with a plan to help address the new behaviors. Besides the constant communication during the week, I have also reached out to his former BCBAs when I was in tears over the weekend not knowing how to handle a situation. The staff here truly cares about the patients. You can tell that this job is not just a paycheck for them, and Amy’s discernment when hiring highly qualified staff is evident. I have zero concerns about my son’s well being at Rise. Rise is a part of my “village” in helping me raise my children to be successful, happy, and well rounded. My son is truly unrecognizable from his first day with Rise to now, 3.75 years later. I am so grateful that Amy founded Rise as a parent of a child on the spectrum herself. Being a mother of a child on the spectrum providers a different vantage point than solely being a clinician in the field, and she is wonderful in understanding my concerns between balancing education and addressing behaviours that can negatively impact his education. I also found that my son was more advance at the beginning of kindergarten than his twin, likely due to the work my son did during his time at Rise vs what my daughter worked on during her Mother’s Day Out program. I have never once regretted my decision to enroll my son at Rise & am forever grateful for all they have done for my family.

Highly recommended! I have nothing but words of thanks for the entire team at Rise with ABA. My son enjoyed both Katy locations at different times. Everyone is very professional. In my previous experience, I had never felt as supported as I did here. Everyone: from the owner to the newest therapist (including managers, BCBa) work so that parents and clients are satisfied. I have no doubt that at the new location in Cypress, you and Jocelyn will do a great job as well (she won our hearts, we love her). My only concern at first was that they didn't have an outdoor space, they only have an indoor playground, but they know how to make up for it.

My daughter has been going to Rise ABA for a little over two years now (Bella and Westheimer) and I highly recommend it. The second I met Amy and spoke with her I knew this was the right place for my daughter. Amy is amazing!! She is so genuine and caring and I completely trust her. All of my daughter’s BCBA’s, speech therapists, and therapists have been wonderful. The BCBAs really invest a lot of time in creating goals and working with parents to achieve these goals. Speech is provided and that’s something that I really liked since my daughter initially was non verbal. In these past two years my daughter has learned so much and has made so much progress and that is something I will forever be grateful to all of the staff at Rise.

My daughter has been here for almost 2 years. She had been in another clinic before coming to the Rise. The Rise with ABA is the best. Do you know which clinic’s owner knows about and cares about and truly loves your kid? My answer is the Rise with ABA. Not saying how much her BCBA and the managers and the therapists care about her. The whole team collaborate well and update me anything about my daughter. They really work very hard. They are there whenever you need help. They care about what both you and your kid need. 5 star recommendation of the clinic. Just love it!
