When our son was diagnosed with Autism in October 2023, my husband and I were overwhelmed, as we had no personal experience with a loved one having Autism. Akoya not only answered my phone call the day I reached out but also promptly followed up with answers to all the questions I had about starting the process and understanding ABA therapy. What my husband and I appreciate most about our experience with Akoya over the past year is the unwavering support not only for our son but also for us as parents. The staff genuinely cares about our progress, listens attentively, and is dedicated to our son’s success. The CEO, Ian, has personally reached out several times to ensure we are receiving all the support we need. Since beginning our journey with Akoya, our son’s behavior has dramatically improved from a social-emotional standpoint. He used to have multiple hour-long meltdowns each week, but now they have been reduced to occasional five-minute episodes. Our son is much more aware of his emotions, which has significantly helped him interact more appropriately with his peers. We have had incredible staff working with our son, and we will forever be grateful for the immense support and countless hours of ABA therapy we have received from Akoya.
