My son has been going to this practice since the fall & we absolutely LOVE Alison(Ali)! I've never met a more relatable and down to earth provider! My son gets so excited to go see her & has improved with his speech so quickly! We went from around 20 words to full sentences!...

I went for my 7m old son's feeding. They were so organized with their space, they asked great questions, and worked with him to help me see the root issue of what might be causing his trouble! They really listened to me and helped my son!...

Even there we were there a short time, my son learned a lot with Nicole, during nutrition counseling. Every staff cares and are very kind ! They offer both virtual and physical appointments which are helpful to parents.

Very disappointing experience. My 7-year-old son’s speech therapy services were terminated without any notice simply because we had to cancel a few sessions. Kids get sick, and families sometimes have scheduling challenges — especially when driving 30 minutes each way — but none of that was taken into consideration. The quality of therapy itself was also concerning. They asked my 7-year-old questions like “What does a cow say?” and “What does a cow give us?” These are things he worked on years ago when he was 3. That is not appropriate or meaningful speech therapy for a child his age. Billing practices were another red flag. One time after canceling a session, I noticed we were still charged for a session involving an additional therapist on a phone call — something that seemed like an internal mistake rather than a legitimate service. Overall, it felt like they cared more about attendance and money than about the child. If you don’t fit their schedule or aren’t profitable enough, they will drop you without warning. I would not recommend this place to families looking for compassionate, child-centered speech therapy.

Really disappointed with the communication from this office. The therapist my child worked with was very kind, but the administrative side was more than frustrating. When I had to cancel an appointment because my child was sick, I received an email from Lindsey that felt cold and unnecessarily harsh, and it strongly implied we could lose our scheduled time because of an illness-related cancellation. I respect that policies exist, but the tone made it seem like a sick child was an inconvenience. Kids get sick, especially little ones; and families shouldn’t be made to feel guilty or threatened for that. I responded respectfully to clarify, and I never heard back. Not the level of professionalism or empathy I expected from a pediatric therapy office. Wouldn’t recommend. Edit to add since now I’m being made out to be a liar - Please let me know what the attached photo says then. You WERE informed of his illness. Bizarre you claim you weren’t, receipts down lie.

Courtney is such a great therapist. My baby truly enjoyed working with her. As a first time mom I also learned so much about feeding a child that I can carry forward. Thanks Courtney! We also worked with Kimberly and she gave such a great pointers on volume and food mix. Thank you, Kimberly!

I’ve been meaning to write a review and am just now getting to it. Ms. Rachel helped my eldest daughter who is a picky eater and gave us the tools we didn’t know we needed! Meal times were often a struggle and I wanted to make sure she got the support from dedicated professionals. From start to finish this is an amazing resource and local business. Everyone from the front desk to billing was super helpful and professional. They offer a wide variety of treatments and go over everything in the first meeting. We also were assisted by Ms. Kimberly and Ms. Anna. After that first session we had weekly virtual meetings at mealtimes with Ms. Rachel. My daughter really enjoyed trying new foods, describing the texture, taste etc. We have since graduated from feeding therapy but I am forever grateful for the patience, handbook, and lifelong tools we have moving forward and am confident my daughter will one day become an adventurous eater!

We had a great experience with Rachel, Juliana, and Kimberly. They were able to help my daughter with feeding therapy. They are knowledgable about food allergies and sensitivities. They ensure there is a safe, clean, and private eating area, which is essential for children with severe food allergies. They also took our insurance, which worked out great for us. I highly recommend Back 2 Basics!
