If you only want compliant families who never ask questions, just say that. The moment I started asking for clarification about my daughter’s evaluation and treatment plan, the tone from BES completely changed. Instead of transparency, I was met with hostility, delays, and ultimately my child being waitlisted with no explanation. What concerns me most is that a non-credentialed finance director — Eliana Puerta — is the one communicating clinical information and responding to parents as if she is licensed to do so. This is not only unethical, it is inappropriate and confusing for families who expect to receive guidance from actual qualified clinicians. If BES chooses to respond to this review (as they always do), my first question is simple: 👉 Why is a non-credentialed finance employee acting as the primary point of contact for clinical matters? 👉 What are Eliana Puerta’s credentials to discuss diagnoses, therapy plans, or psychological criteria with parents? Families deserve professionalism, consistency, and communication from licensed providers — not finance staff operating outside their role. Until those concerns are addressed, I cannot recommend this clinic in good faith.

They make sure to give your child the best care and to meet their needs. My son also doesn’t like going many places but he loves it here and has built good connections with the staff !

The therapists are so helpful, cooperative and knowledgeable to assist my kid. The clinic is clean and the location is convenient in all aspects of requirement. I recommend this center highly for ABA therapy.

The staff at Behavioral Associates is incredibly professional and welcoming. From the moment you walk into the office, you’re met with great service and genuine care. Lisa, Jackie, and the doctors make scheduling and follow-ups easy and stress-free. One of the things we appreciate most is not having to navigate the usual insurance hassles. As a bilingual family, we’ve also felt truly understood—our cultural context is respected and valued. My son got diagnosed with autism here. The staff is wonderful. The owner was kind and gentle with him. We don't live in Silver Spring but if we did I'd let him have ABA therapy services there in a heart beat. Dr. McIntyre is knowledgeable and so helpful & the brand new playroom is awesome.
