BHA has relocated to a fully remodeled facility that is gorgeous and more functional than the previous one. Staff are dedicated to this important and hard work, and now have a better environment in which to support the students. Better outcomes for students and families predicted!

My son aged out of early intervention in July 2024. Summit was recommended for their in-home services but I was told by his therapist there could be a wait list. So I call and go through everything; and they tell me that it could take awhile for services and we "got put on their list", well a couple months go by and my husband asks if I've heard from them and I hadn't so I call again. I remember getting off that phone call and telling him "I dont think they ever put us on the list because when I said that we're just wanting confirmation we were on the list the person went silent." Then said, "yeah, yeah, 57th on the list". A couple more months go by and THEY CALLED ME to confirm we still needed services, so I know we weren't on the list based on that. They then called every couple months to confirm services needed. Fast forward to early Sept 2025. Somehow they managed to call me they day AFTER we got services through a different company. This is where they get their 1 star.. I was honest and said that we had JUST started in-home through a different company and Gale is almost always the one I spoke to, if not the only one the whole time. When I answered that we just started ABA somewhere else she said she HAD to take us off their wait list and if we needed sign back up I would go to the back of the list so they can 'keep spots open' for others. But here's my issue with that. If this is the place that I WANTED my son to go you're going to take him off of a list because I did what a parent should do and get my son help in the mean time? But now im completely boycotting this place. If I get push back I'll just post screen shots/a screen recording of my call logs and my emails. I dont delete anything for proof that I did everything I said I did. I wouldn't want my kid being taught by people who only look at him as a number on a list.

The support we've received from Summit has profoundly impacted our child's development. Initially diagnosed as nonverbal autistic, our little one now engages in conversations every morning with the team. The progress my son has made is extraordinary, and he is now prepared for kindergarten on time. Summit didn't simply help him conform; they personalized his growth journey at his own pace. The transformational experience we've had through this center is remarkable, and the entire team—Maycee, Audrey, Alyssa, Molly, and many other specialists—are invaluable assets to our community!

There are only good things that I have to say about Summit Wichita. Their patience and way to find how to make things work is really great. Therefore, I will always remember them if anyone asks for a referral in ABA. For a great service that made it possible for myself and my daughter to communicate better, I give them infinite amount of stars. Every RBT we have worked with. And our BCBA. Best people I have met in a long time.

This school has helped my daughter so much. Kansas City Public schools gave up on my child. She finally got a contract to Summit and it has been one of the greatest things that has happened to us. She’s actually learning things and is become better behaved at home as well. Definitely recommend !!!!!
