I had already invested time completing the first link in order to begin my sons assessment, only to learn, while in the office, that a second crucial link had been missing in the original email. This mean't I had to wait for it to be resent while actively managing my son’s needs—something that can be challenging in any environment. In a center that serves children with autism, I expected a more proactive and understanding approach. Instead, I was left balancing my child’s safety while completing the form a system that erased my progress and I had to start all over. This caused considerable stress, as I was trying to ensure my son received the care he needs. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously, as families in our situation rely on both empathy and efficiency.

My son attended FAC Ocala for a year and a half and we had such a great experience. Many behaviors he had in the beginning either decreased or disappeared completely. The staff is great and very helpful. My son became potty trained in this time period, and I don't think that would have been possible without the help from the FAC staff. My son graduated from FAC and is now attending preschool and without their help it would have been such a struggle for him to start preschool, but the help they provided for this transition made it so much easier.

I don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am for this clinic and their entire team. From day one, they treated my child with incredible kindness and with the kind of patience that only people who truly love what they do can give. They not only guided my son toward reaching his goals, but they also guided me as a mother, teaching me how to apply at home everything he was learning during his sessions. They always showed understanding for any family situation that could affect my child, and that meant so much to us. In just one month, I saw a real and beautiful change: my son went from not making eye contact, not speaking or expressing himself, not walking by my side, and facing so many other challenges… to becoming a more confident, connected, and capable child. Thanks to their dedication, professionalism, patience, and genuine care, my son achieved more progress than I ever imagined in such a short time. I am deeply grateful for every effort, every encouraging word, and every moment they invested in him. We will always carry in our hearts the positive impact they have had on our lives.

We love FAC Ocala! They have all been so kind and welcoming from day one, and seeing my son blossom since starting here has been amazing. He has been talking more every day since starting here, learning social skills and peer play skills, getting necessary skills he’ll need for school, independent life skills, and much more. They were quick to respond to our inquiry for services, guiding us through the intake and evaluation process and starting him for ABA therapy within a month or so. Bliss, the center director, has made sure we were comfortable and informed every step of the way. Faith, one of the wonderful BCBA’s at this location, has managed my son’s care plan effortlessly, and continues to work hard every day to make sure he’s meeting his goals and that his care team is implementing his plan with integrity. She teaches us how to continue his therapy goals at home, and is always so flexible with our needs and requests for him. The RBT’s have all been SO great with my child to the point he asks to see them even on his days off from therapy! The front desk team, especially Elizabeth, are always so cheerful and welcoming, happy to answer parent questions, kind while navigating last minute scheduling conflicts we’ve had arise, and skilled at planning and keeping us informed about fun events they host often for the children at this center. My son absolutely loves coming here and enjoys the play-based therapy, and has made amazing progress just in the last year. Family, friends, and even his pediatrician have all commented how well he’s doing since starting ABA therapy with FAC! We are beyond confident trusting our son in their care knowing they have his best interests at heart, and will take care of him like their own family. We’re so thankful to have found the amazing staff here at FAC Ocala and will continue to get our son’s services here for as long as they’ll have us!

The Florida Autism Center has been an incredible blessing for our family. From the very beginning, we saw how dedicated the entire team was to helping our child progress toward their goals. The support, communication, and genuine care they show every day have made such a positive difference in our child’s growth and confidence. Faith and Eric, in particular, have been outstanding. They are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to our child’s unique needs. They took the time to create plans that truly fit our child, and their thoughtful approach has led to noticeable progress. We’ve watched our child develop new skills, overcome challenges, and grow in ways we are so proud of. We highly recommend FAC to any family seeking supportive, effective, and compassionate care.
